{"id":38498,"date":"2019-04-18T12:00:04","date_gmt":"2019-04-18T12:00:04","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/?p=38498"},"modified":"2019-04-18T12:00:04","modified_gmt":"2019-04-18T12:00:04","slug":"hpw-fresh-dry-new-jobs-2019-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/hpw-fresh-dry-new-jobs-2019-2.html","title":{"rendered":"HPW Fresh &#038; Dry New Jobs 2019"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>HPW FRESH AND DRY LTD\u00a0is a fruit processing company.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Welder And Fabricator<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Department: Technical<\/li>\n<li>Reports To: Technical Manager<\/li>\n<li>Location: Onsite at HPW Fresh and Dry Ltd, Adeiso, E\/R.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Job Purpose<\/strong><br \/>\nUnder the instructions of the Technical Manager, the Welder and Fabricator would ensure the welding and fabrication needs of the company are adequately met.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Duties<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>TECHNICAL<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Fabrication of mild steel and stainless-steel components as required ensuring that the highest standards in relation to \u2018finishing\u2019 is observed.<\/li>\n<li>Weld components and framework using variety of welding processes such as TIG, MIG, ARC, etc.<\/li>\n<li>Position, align and fit parts according to specifications during fabrications.<\/li>\n<li>Grind, sand, polish and detail fabrications to required finish using hand and power tools to a high standard.<\/li>\n<li>Measure and examine completed work to verify conformance to specifications and requirements.<\/li>\n<li>Operate manual machine tools as part of fabrication process when required.<\/li>\n<li>Work with manager to ensure constant and adequate supply of consumables such as gas, welding wire, electrodes and others.<\/li>\n<li>Constant maintenance of tools, gauges and equipment, and keeping them in a clean, orderly and safe manner.<\/li>\n<li>Liaise with design team and give input into new designs.<\/li>\n<li>Report drawing errors whenever possible.<\/li>\n<li>Complete administrative tasks as required.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>GENERAL<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Follow all Health and Safety procedures to perform tasks in order to maintain a safe workplace and to meet legislative requirements.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure the company\u2019s compliance with BRC and IFS Food Safety Standards as required by implementing best practice in relation to welding, and fabrication of equipment.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure own career development by undertaking relevant courses and training programs.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Required Skills or Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Minimum of SHS, HND or its equivalent in the relevant or related field.<\/li>\n<li>Practical knowledge\/experience in Industrial Welding and Fabrication and a minimum of four years relevant work experience in a similar role, preferably in a production environment.<\/li>\n<li>Relevant Trade Qualification \u2013 Welder\/Fabricator\/Boilermaker, etc.<\/li>\n<li>Apprenticeship in a recognized workshop.<\/li>\n<li>Proven knowledge and experience of industrial fabrication.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to weld TIG, Mild Steel, and Stainless Steel to industry standards.<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of metal finishing techniques.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to recognize welding symbols and specifications.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to read and interpret detailed engineering drawings, welding procedures and work instructions.<\/li>\n<li>Deep knowledge in industry best practices, share knowledge and train apprentices in the workshop.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"how-to-apply\"><strong>How to Apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>All interested applicants should please send their CVs to;\u00a0<strong>fd.hrofficer@hpwag.ch\u00a0<\/strong>latest by 30 April 2019.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>HPW FRESH AND DRY LTD\u00a0is a fruit processing company.
