The Governing body, formulate policies which are implemented by staff.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Finance Officer<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Location:<\/strong>\u00a0 PPAG Family Health Clinic, Accra<br \/>\n<strong>Report To:<\/strong>\u00a0 Facility Head<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Purpose:<\/strong><br \/>\nTo provide Finance and Accounting services to the PPAG FHC, Accra and the Association\u2019s programmes.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Responsible for PPAG financial account and any other project activity that may be assigned<\/li>\n<li>Prepare monthly, quarterly, half yearly and annual reports and any other reports that may be assigned<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that returns from the project sites are received and properly coded to be entered into the Accpac Accounting system.<\/li>\n<li>Scrutinize all project returns and ensure that consistency is maintained in the internal control system and report any lapses found.<\/li>\n<li>Prepare monthly summaries of project expenses under the appropriate account codes<\/li>\n<li>Provide financial support to project staff<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that funds are available for project implementation<\/li>\n<li>Assist in the preparation of PPAG final accounts<\/li>\n<li>Undertake monthly supervision of the update of Project\u2019s Fixed Asset Register<\/li>\n<li>Prepare monthly Bank Reconciliation statements<\/li>\n<li>Assist in preparation of project budget, Annual Programme Budget (APB) and any other financial information to Management for decision-making.<\/li>\n<li>Prepare monthly bank reconciliation statements<\/li>\n<li>Perform any other duties assigned by the immediate supervisor<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Required Skills or Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Have a first degree in Bsc Administration (Accounting) or B. Commerce or any other Business related field or its equivalent in Professional Accounting with a minimum of three (3) years relevant working experience in a similar position<\/li>\n<li>A Master\u2019s degree will be an added advantage<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>The Person Must:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Have a good knowledge of accounting systems and procedures, particularly ACCPAC will be an advantage<\/li>\n<li>Be highly skilled in the use of the computer<\/li>\n<li>Have a very good presentation, communication and report writing skills<\/li>\n<li>Have a high sense of responsibility, accuracy and judgmental skills<\/li>\n<li>Be honest, transparent and reliable<\/li>\n<li>Have excellent human relation skills, be youth friendly and a team player<\/li>\n<li>Be able to work with little or no supervision and have an eye for details<\/li>\n<li>Be able to multitask<\/li>\n<li>Have the ability to work\u00a0 for long hours and under pressure<\/li>\n<li>Be able to travel at short notice<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"how-to-apply\"><strong>How to Apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>All interested persons with requisite qualification(s), should kindly send their Application Letters with a detailed Curriculum Vitae (CV), including two referees, their e-mail addresses and cell phone numbers to:<\/p>\n<p><strong>The Search Committee Planned Parenthood Association of Ghana (PPAG) P.O.
