{"id":38598,"date":"2019-04-24T14:59:08","date_gmt":"2019-04-24T14:59:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/?p=38598"},"modified":"2019-04-24T14:59:08","modified_gmt":"2019-04-24T14:59:08","slug":"engineer-is-integration-at-mtn-ghana-2019","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/engineer-is-integration-at-mtn-ghana-2019.html","title":{"rendered":"Engineer, IS Integration at MTN Ghana 2019"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Responsible for executing activities related to the integration of software programs and applications into organizational information systems, in the areas;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Engineer, IS Integration\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u00a0IT related nodes with in GSM space<\/li>\n<li>Mobile financial service<\/li>\n<li>ICT<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Responsibilities includes the documentation and working with 3rd party systems and applications vendors as well as ensuring quality and timely delivery of integration task and products and services deployment.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Role<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Collaborate with technology team members, end users, and other stakeholders in the testing of new software programs and applications as well as products and services deployment.<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Ensure that any new software integration into the organization systems meets functional requirements, system compliance, and other specifications.<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate with 3<sup>rd<\/sup>\u00a0party vendors and internal stakeholders for successful testing (SAT, IAT and UAT) integration projects<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate with 3<sup>rd<\/sup>\u00a0party vendors and internal stakeholders for successful go-live following policy<\/li>\n<li>Documenting all integration project implementation activities to ensure smooth support of the business<\/li>\n<li>Performing other tasks that may be assigned to the post, based on the job requirement.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Education<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Degree in Computer Engineer \/ Computer Science.<\/li>\n<li>Possessing ITIL and other software and system certification is an added advantage<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Minimum of 3 years of relevant IT experience<\/li>\n<li>Telecoms experience necessary<\/li>\n<li>Application Architecture and System Integration<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Competencies<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Professional\/Technical competencies:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Good knowledge in database administration, policies and procedures<\/li>\n<li>knowledge of system testing and software quality assurance best practices and methodologies<\/li>\n<li>Sound knowledge of GSM and Telecom Elements.<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge in programming language, software application installation and administration<\/li>\n<li>Good knowledge in the following systems: VB6\/.NET, Oracle and SQL Script.<\/li>\n<li>Good knowledge in UNIX\/LINUX System Administration<\/li>\n<li>Very Good Knowledge System integration &amp; Architecture design<\/li>\n<li>Very Good knowledge of product and service life cycle<\/li>\n<li>Very Good knowledge OSS,BSS,MFS and ICT<\/li>\n<li>Very good knowledge Customer Management process and Systems<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Behavioural competencies:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Integrity<\/li>\n<li>Commitment to the Organization<\/li>\n<li>Teamwork &amp;
