{"id":39075,"date":"2019-05-14T08:58:04","date_gmt":"2019-05-14T08:58:04","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/?p=39075"},"modified":"2019-05-14T08:58:04","modified_gmt":"2019-05-14T08:58:04","slug":"current-jobs-at-mtn-ghana-2019","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/current-jobs-at-mtn-ghana-2019.html","title":{"rendered":"Current Jobs At MTN Ghana 2019"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Provide supervision to the support and maintenance of existing enterprise applications and the day to day operations of the Enterprise Unified Communication Platforms.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Engineer, Enterprise Applications Support<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Job Role<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Support all in-house developed applications (such as and not limited to (RA Platforms, POS, SIM PPMS, Portal, Perception, Topaz, Timware, etc., ) to support the business operations<\/li>\n<li>Support day to day operation of the Enterprise Unified Communication Service Platforms (Emailing System, Skype for Business\/PABX, BMC, Webproxy)<\/li>\n<li>Provide input to the implementation, backup and roll-back plans<\/li>\n<li>Follow appropriate departmental and company procedures and policies (i.e. change control, security and auditing, release, configuration, problem and incident management).<\/li>\n<li>Maintain application monitoring, performance tuning and testing and review all acknowledged alarms to identify opportunities for optimization<\/li>\n<li>Deploy monthly\/Periodic patches in line with MTN Ghana Patch Management Procedure<\/li>\n<li>Review all service outages that affected multiple users to check whether the automated monitoring functionality of the network and system management applications are working correctly, and also to make sure that the alarm handling tasks are carried out properly. This is done to ensure that downtime is minimized when an outage occurs.<\/li>\n<li>Identify and implement improvements to application logging, reporting, and monitoring<\/li>\n<li>Provide operational support for generation of relevant data files, databases, reports, in daily operations.<\/li>\n<li>Perform debugging\/troubleshooting and deployment of various applications in production \/ development environments<\/li>\n<li>Close all assigned Enterprise Applications Operations Audit Observations within the agreed timelines<\/li>\n<li>Provide statistical data for Sectional Weekly and Monthly reports.<\/li>\n<li>Close all assigned Enterprise Applications Operations Audit Observations within the agreed timelines<\/li>\n<li>Provide statistical data for Sectional Weekly and Monthly reports.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Education<\/p>\n<p>Minimum of a First Degree in Computer Science or Engineering or its equivalent<\/p>\n<p>Experience<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Minimum of 3 years\u2019 relevant experience in IT in a Telecoms environment<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Competencies<\/p>\n<p>Knowledge<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Sound knowledge of internetworking technology.<\/li>\n<li>System capabilities, limitations, and programming logic (Mandatory).<\/li>\n<li>Good knowledge in the following systems: VB6, .NET, Oracle and SQL Script.<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of security areas such as Auditing, Policy, Database Security, Firewall Design and Implementation<\/li>\n<li>TCP\/IP, LAN and WAN Topologies<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Behavioural qualities:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Teamwork &amp; Cooperation<\/li>\n<li>Customer Focus<\/li>\n<li>Performance Excellence<\/li>\n<li>Taking the Initiative<\/li>\n<li>Analytical Thinking, Problem solving and analytical abilities.<\/li>\n<li>Strong interpersonal and communications skills.<\/li>\n<li>Team building abilities<\/li>\n<li>Ability to function under pressure.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to think and articulate thoughts logically<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Provide supervision to the support and maintenance of existing enterprise applications and the day to day operations of the Enterprise Unified Communication Platforms.
