Plan International Ghana is looking for a Sub-grant Program Management Specialist to lead the provision of grant management and coordination support to local women\u2019s organizations for a project titled \u201cWomen\u2019s Voice and Leadership \u2013 Ghana\u201d. The project will support local women\u2019s rights organizations with grants and capacity development to strengthen their organizational development, programming and advocacy, and sustainability. It will further support collaboration and collective action to advance gender equality and the empowerment of women and girls. The project will have a national reach, however specifically target some regions of Ghana. The project started in April 2019, has a duration of five years, and a budget of over $3 million EUR.<\/p>\n

Job Title:\u00a0Project Management Sub-Grant Specialist\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Sub-grant Program Management Specialist is part of a cross-functional project team responsible for quality implementation of the Women\u2019s Voice and Leadership project.<\/p>\n

Financial measures or statistics relevant to post such as budget; list of direct and indirect reports<\/p>\n

The Sub-grant Program Management Specialist will be responsible for coordinating the granting mechanisms and processes for women\u2019s rights organizations, including pre-award planning and organization, and post-award programmatic support and administration of various grants. Feminist principles of collaboration, participation, transparency, and respect for the agency of women\u2019s organizations will be integrated into all aspects of this role. The post-holder will be based in Accra yet travel to the project locations across the country approximately 50% of their time.<\/p>\n
