The incumbent will also provide administrative and clerical support and project coordination to ensure effective and efficient operations.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Administrative Officer<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Manage the front desk<\/li>\n<li>Manage General and Laboratory inventory<\/li>\n<li>Answer phone calls and direct calls to appropriate parties or take messages<\/li>\n<li>File and retrieve corporate documents, records and reports<\/li>\n<li>Greet visitors and give them access to the facility where necessary<\/li>\n<li>Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence<\/li>\n<li>Assist with procurement<\/li>\n<li>Provides general administrative support, including typing, copying, scanning, faxing, printing, and other administrative responsibilities.<\/li>\n<li>Provide logistics support for USP Ghana trainings.<\/li>\n<li>Keeps abreast of USP\u2019s policies, mission, and activities; uses discretion in handling sensitive issues and in determining issues that require attention.<\/li>\n<li>Establishes and maintains files and records; handles sensitive files and correspondence in a manner consistent with the appropriate levels of confidentiality.<\/li>\n<li>Attends meetings and takes notes and tracks action items.<\/li>\n<li>Provides support for special projects as directed by supervisor.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Required Skills or Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Experience in the pharmaceutical industry a plus.<\/li>\n<li>Familiarity with scientific\/technical terminology preferred.Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills.<\/li>\n<li>High level of proficiency with office technologies and computer applications including MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Project, GroupWise, and the Internet.<\/li>\n<li>Readily learns new or specialty software applications.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.<\/li>\n<li>Proven capability to productively support internal and external staff.<\/li>\n<li>Must be a team player.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to speak multiple languages a plus.<\/li>\n<li>Conveys a professional image through their actions and behaviors.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>How to Apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Interested persons should send their CVs and Cover letters to cepat@usp.org<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Administrative Officer will manage USP Ghana\u2019s front desk and Laboratory inventory.
