{"id":39119,"date":"2019-05-16T13:47:55","date_gmt":"2019-05-16T13:47:55","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/?p=39119"},"modified":"2019-05-16T13:47:55","modified_gmt":"2019-05-16T13:47:55","slug":"current-jobs-at-usp-ghana-2019","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/current-jobs-at-usp-ghana-2019.html","title":{"rendered":"Current Jobs At USP Ghana 2019"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Associate Scientist will perform testing of medicines and foods using compendia, physico-chemical and microbiology procedures and other validated procedures; and will also assist with hands-on laboratory training, and other training activities, as needed.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Associate Scientist\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The Associate Scientist may execute 90-100% of their work at the bench.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Roles and Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Performs routine chemical analyses to determine the identity, content, purity, and release rates of medicine samples and microbiological testing.<\/li>\n<li>Analyses data from tests, critically reviews results and brings any unexpected findings immediately to the attention of supervisor<\/li>\n<li>Generates and reports scientifically sound, reproducible, and accurate data<\/li>\n<li>Records experimental data, ensuring clear and accurate transcription of results and calculations<\/li>\n<li>Takes personal ownership of work assigned<\/li>\n<li>Executes all testing and analysis of data with excellence and minimal errors<\/li>\n<li>Has excellent understanding of the use of compendia such as USP, BP, Ph.Eur, and Ph.
