\n\u2022 Selecting, developing, cataloguing and classifying library resources
\n\u2022 Using library systems and specialist computer applications
\n\u2022 Liaising with departmental academic staff, external organizations and suppliers
\n\u2022 managing budgets, resources and developing IT facilities
\n\u2022 supporting independent research and learning
\n\u2022 assisting readers to use computer equipment, conduct literature searches etc
\n\u2022 Develop and update library instructional modules and document instructional resources for undergraduate classes.
\n\u2022 Create and manage library operations manual, attend meetings and gain professional development opportunities.
\n\u2022 Support print and electronic information materials and resources usage.<\/p>\n
\n\u2022 A master\u2019s degree will be an added advantage.
\n\u2022 At least five (5) years cognitive post qualification experience
\n\u2022 Excellent verbal and drafting skills in English
\n\u2022 Computer literate and experience of automated library will be an added experience
\n\u2022 A maximum age limit of 45 years;
\n\u2022 Good organization and time management skills, accuracy, speed and attention to detail.<\/p>\n
\n\u2022 Must be highly motivated person
\n\u2022 Must be a team player
\n\u2022 Must have a high level of integrity
\n\u2022 Must have the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
\n\u2022 Must have good written and communication skills<\/p>\n
