{"id":39708,"date":"2019-06-26T17:19:37","date_gmt":"2019-06-26T17:19:37","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/?p=39708"},"modified":"2019-06-26T17:19:37","modified_gmt":"2019-06-26T17:19:37","slug":"dalex-finance-jobs-2019","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/dalex-finance-jobs-2019.html","title":{"rendered":"Dalex Finance Jobs 2019"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>To provide an independent assurance to the Board that the organisation\u2019s, risk management, governance and internal control mechanisms are functioning effectively.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Internal Auditor<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Specific Duties &amp; Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Provide an annual assessment on the adequacy and effectiveness of the Company\u2019s processes for controlling its activities, managing its risks and ensuring good governance.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure compliance with policies, procedures and regulatory guidelines issued by Bank of Ghana and other corporate stakeholders.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure the Unit work to ensure strict compliance with the requirements of the internal audit charter\/audit time-table and programmes.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure high quality of audit and investigation work acceptable to the relevant stakeholders<\/li>\n<li>Ensure up to date review of Financial Reports and reconciliation for early detection of irregularities before external examinations.<\/li>\n<li>Undertake periodic unannounced visits to the various offices to review operations to check for compliance with policies and procedures<\/li>\n<li>Review audit, inspection and investigation report findings, recommendations and monitor the rectification of the identified anomalies and implementation of recommendations.<\/li>\n<li>Experience in implementing and enforcing AML\/CFT\/KYC regimes<\/li>\n<li>Ensure major issues uncovered in the cause of auditing are well documented, highlighted and reported upon.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain effective liaison with external auditors\/regulatory inspectors.<\/li>\n<li>Review and recommend additions, amendments to existing policies and guidelines on internal controls to reflect changes in the business environment.<\/li>\n<li>Submit quarterly reports to the Board of Directors through the Board Sub Committee on Finance and Audit exceptions raised during audits.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualification and Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>First degree or a qualified professional qualification in ACCA, CA, CIMA.<\/li>\n<li>5 years\u2019 experience as an Internal Audit department preferably in a financial institution.<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of financial sector and modern internal auditing practices will be an advantage.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Skills \/ Competence<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work with minimal supervision and work to meet deadlines.<\/li>\n<li>A person with a high level of integrity<\/li>\n<li>A strong analytical ability and negotiating skills.<\/li>\n<li>The ability to establish relationships at all levels.<\/li>\n<li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>To provide an independent assurance to the Board that the organisation\u2019s, risk management, governance and internal control mechanisms are functioning effectively.
