Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n Job Title:\u00a0Project Manager\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n \u00b7 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 Be an in-charge of interface co-ordination with any other Contractors \/ sub-contractors and related technical co-ordination with engineering discipline specialists.<\/p>\n \u00b7 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 Experience in supervision of contractors works including, Civil, Structural \/ Earth Works fabrication, Electrical & Instrumentation installation, testing, painting, commissioning of Oil & Gas facilities, particularly Oil Storage tanks, vessels, associated piping and pipelines, oil jetty etc., is a must.<\/p>\n \u00b7 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 Installation, testing, pre-commissioning & commissioning of various static and rotary equipment including pumps, compressors, package equipment etc.,<\/p>\n \u00b7 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 Close monitoring of site progress, working with contractor to improve production efficiency.<\/p>\n \u00b7 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 Checking and certification of Contractors site progress certificates with respect to the actual progress.<\/p>\n \u00b7 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 Maintain latest copies of all drawings and documents at the site office.<\/p>\n \u00b7 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 Ensure that works are carried out as per the latest & approved drawings and applicable engineering Codes & Standards, Client and Local Authority requirements etc<\/p>\n \u00b7 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 Ensure that proper HSE and Quality control is maintained for all the works being carried out at site.<\/p>\n \u00b7 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 Ensure that inspected and certified material is used for construction.<\/p>\n \u00b7 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 Ensure that approved materials only are used in the works.<\/p>\n \u00b7 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 Preparation of Punch lists for mechanical completion of Tanks, Equipment, Piping and Pipelines, including for fire water\/ foam systems.<\/p>\n \u00b7 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 Process and resolve concession & deviation requests, non-conformities etc. from the Contractors.<\/p>\n \u00b7 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 Conduct regular Construction Progress meeting with Contractor and all Sub-Contractors and attend weekly HSE meetings and safety walks.<\/p>\n \u00b7 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 Participate in weekly progress review meetings and engineering discussions and meeting as required.<\/p>\n \u00b7 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 Follow-up with Contractor and necessary interaction with statutory authorities to ensure that that contractor obtains and performs work on necessary permits, approvals.<\/p>\n \u00b7 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 Review, comment and approve the construction related deliverables submitted by Contractors, including procedures, method statements, Itps etc.<\/p>\n \u00b7 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 Witness all destructive & non-destructive tests, examinations etc. by the Contractors.<\/p>\n Qualification<\/strong><\/p>\n Essential (with Specialization)<\/p>\n Has B. Tech \/ B.E., Mechanical Engineering discipline<\/p>\n Preferred<\/p>\n Has hands on experience with Storage tanks, Pipelines & Oil Jetties. Must have knowledge of codes and standards API and ASTM standards.
