Because we\u2019re a people ready enabler, your work will have a real impact on people, processes and businesses across Africa.<\/p>\n<p>So if you are talented, you can think out of the box and very passionate for Microsoft Technologies, your mission is to beat Axxend\u2019s recruiting and screening black box and help set a new standard for IT consulting in Africa.<br \/>\nThe Sales Manager role adds value to Axxend by delivering a well-managed, profitable and growing business produced through relationship excellence and sales excellence practices where the customer views the Sales Manager as trusted advisor.<br \/>\nThe Sales Manager role is responsible for delivering a well-managed business of customer accounts that meets or exceeds revenue targets through demonstrated value to the customer, relationship and sales excellence practices and representing Axxend.<\/p>\n<p>The Sales Manager role is unique in the following ways:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Capability to develop and provide value to CIO and LOB director relationships.<\/li>\n<li>Scale through extended teams.<\/li>\n<li>Sales cycles generally up to 6 months.<\/li>\n<li>Greater degree of industry versatility (more generalist knowledge required)<\/li>\n<li>Greater territory element to account management.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p><strong>Required Skills or Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor degree is required (1st degree\/Master is preferred)<\/li>\n<li>5\u20138 years of related experience<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Professional Training :<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Complex sales training (e.g., Miller Heiman, Spin, Michael Bosworth, Holden, TAS \u2013 Target Account Selling, etc.), sales methodologies (equivalent to MSSP),<\/li>\n<li>Broad evangelism through events (presentation skills),<\/li>\n<li>Effective marketing tactics, negotiation,<\/li>\n<li>300 Level knowledge of Microsoft Licensing,<\/li>\n<li>200 Level knowledge of basic Microsoft platform technologies<\/li>\n<li>100 Level knowledge of mission-critical Enterprise products<\/li>\n<li>100 Level knowledge of major competitors, including Local\/Regional and industry-specific competitors<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Hiring Profile<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Has strong time management and prioritization skills; is organized and methodical in his\/her approach.<\/li>\n<li>Has passionate attitude for sales, technology and customers as an enabler for a company\u2019s growth.<\/li>\n<li>Is experienced in building relationships with CXOs and business decision-makers.<\/li>\n<li>Has the &#8220;discipline&#8221; of working with people; is structured in his\/her approach to leading teams through complex technology solution sales.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p><strong>How To Apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>Please send your resume to:<\/p>\n<div><a href=\"mailto:ecd@axxend.com\"><strong>ecd@axxend.com<\/strong><\/a><\/div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Closing 11th Aug, 2011<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Axxend is a fast growing American IT company with operations in Africa.
