{"id":4017,"date":"2011-06-17T00:00:29","date_gmt":"2011-06-17T00:00:29","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/?p=4017"},"modified":"2016-11-25T09:43:50","modified_gmt":"2016-11-25T09:43:50","slug":"standard-chartered-bank-ghana-careers","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/standard-chartered-bank-ghana-careers.html","title":{"rendered":"Standard Chartered Bank Ghana Careers"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Tax Compliance Manager<\/strong><\/p>\n<div>\n<p><strong>The successful candidate will report to the Chief Finance Officer:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>To ensure that SCB Ghana&#8217;s direct and indirect tax liabilities are reported correctly in accordance with applicable laws \/ accounting standards and settled on time<\/li>\n<li>Provide tax services to business heads<\/li>\n<li>Update and implement tax strategies to facilitate lowering of effective tax rates<\/li>\n<li>Responding to ad-hoc queries and requests for tax advice<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Key Roles:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Manage the tax compliance process and create value through optimizing claims to reliefs, etc<\/li>\n<li>Drive successful implementation of tax saving initiatives developed by regional tax<\/li>\n<li>Accuracy of taxation features incorporated in country addenda for products and PARs for assigned projects<\/li>\n<li>Accuracy &amp; timeliness of external SCB Ghana tax reporting<\/li>\n<li>Maintain SCB\u00a0Ghana tax records as required by fiscal authorities<\/li>\n<li>Manage tax disputes, audits and enquiries<\/li>\n<li>Ensure tax advice given is correctly reflected in tax returns and external reporting<\/li>\n<li>Maintain permanent file of notes regarding issues affecting the tax return or external reporting<\/li>\n<li>Create standard list of filing optimizations &amp; capture &amp; make available to team \/ corporate memory<\/li>\n<li>Contribute to Group high value project team initiatives<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Diversity &amp; Inclusion:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Standard Chartered is committed to diversity and inclusion.
