CA Oil & Gas<\/strong> are currently seeking a Managing Director for a downstream fuels & retailing company for their operations in Ghana.<\/p>\n

Job purpose<\/strong>:<\/p>\n

To Develop a strategy and direction to guide the business into the future with planned growth ensuring that all stated objectives, aims and<\/p>\n

targets are met and lead to the overall Company Goal.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

<\/span><\/p>\n

Key responsibilities and accountabilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n

1.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Day-to-day financial control of the business including:\u00a0\u00a0Development of the business in line with stated objectives.\u00a0\u00a0Managing Financial and Physical Resources<\/p>\n

  1. Plan, develop and implement strategy for operational\u00a0management and development so as to meet agreed organisational performance plans within agreed budgets and timescales.<\/li>\n
  2. Establish and maintain appropriate systems for measuring necessary aspects of operational\u00a0management and development<\/li>\n
  3. Monitor, measure and\u00a0report\u00a0on operational\u00a0issues, opportunities and development plans and achievements within agreed formats and timescales<\/li>\n
  4. Manage and develop direct reporting staff<\/li>\n
  5. Manage and control departmental expenditure within agreed budgets as well as\u00a0Forecast accurately and dynamically allocate resources against forecast<\/li>\n
  6. Liaise with other functional\/departmental managers so as to understand all necessary aspects and needs of operational development, and to ensure they are fully informed of operational objectives, purposes and achievements<\/li>\n
  7. Maintain awareness and knowledge of contemporary operational development theory and methods and provide suitable interpretation to directors, managers and staff within the organisation<\/li>\n
  8. Contribute to the evaluation and development of operational strategy and performance in co-optation with the executive team<\/li>\n
  9. Ensure activities meet with and integrate with organisational requirements for quality management, health and safety, legal stipulations, environmental policies and general duty of care.<\/li>\n
  10. Execute the responsibilities of a company director.<\/li>\n
  11. Attend training and to develop relevant knowledge and skills.<\/li>\n
  12. Implement and create policies that ensure efficiency and effectiveness of staff.<\/li>\n
  13. Responsible for the development of the business in mining and Industrial sector of Ghana \u00a0with full P&L responsibility and the day to day management of the Company.<\/li>\n
  14. Responsible for identifying and implementing a chain of fuel retail outlets throughout the country at strategic locations with high European Standards<\/li>\n
  15. Drive team to deliver annual goals<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Credentials<\/p>\n

    \u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Degree in Business<\/p>\n

    \u00b7\u00a0Proven track record in management of marketing and sales operations.<\/p>\n

    \u00b7\u00a0Ten years Experience in managing a sales and service organization<\/p>\n

    \u00b7\u00a0Understanding of the distributor channels in petroleum sector<\/p>\n

    \u00b7\u00a0Experienced in driving change within an organisation<\/p>\n

    \u00b7\u00a0Strong leadership experience<\/p>\n

    \u00b7\u00a0MBA desirable<\/p>\n
