\nPerform welding, hand grinding and sandblasting applications on fishing and casing exit downhole tools.
\nPerform visual and in-process inspections in accordance with API and ISO quality specifications. Working with engineering teams and non-destructive testing (NDT) vendors to ensure the final product is fit for purpose.
\nHelps facilitate the team in diagnosing, troubleshooting, and solving welding problems that enhance efficiency within the work team.
\nContributes to the team\u2019s safety culture and ensure all safety procedures for welding operations are followed.
\nResponsible for supporting the team and the team\u2019s objectives.
\nRequired to pass periodic welding tests and qualifications in compliance with qualification procedures.<\/p>\n
\nMust have knowledge of welding processes \u2013 MIG (GMAW), Stick (SMAW), Braze Welding and hardfacing applications.
\nMust be able to read, interpret and follow blueprints\/procedures.
\n3 \u2013 5 years of welding experience in a shop environment
\nAbility and willingness to work overtime.
\nDesired Characteristics:<\/p>\n
\nCapable of using a computer to retrieve work documents and record production numbers \u2013 Windows-based systems with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel), as well as SAP.
\nSafety focused.
\nTeam player
