The underground mining operation will be fully mechanized, designed to produce up to an average maximum of 5,000 t\/day of ore mined.<\/p>\n<p>We are seeking an experienced and self-motivated person to join our dedicated team as a<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Communications Specialist<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p align=\"LEFT\"><b>ROLE PURPOSE AND CONTEXT<\/b><\/p>\n<p>To identify, develop and deliver the programs and plans required to effectively communicate and promote AGAG\u2019s interests and initiatives across internal AGA operations, local and regional communities, policy-makers, Government departments, and business interests.<\/p>\n<p><b>KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Develop and implement an external communications approach and delivery plan to promote the delivery of the Obuasi Redevelopment Plan.<\/li>\n<li>Develop and implement an external communications approach and delivery plan to promote AGAG initiatives and interests across Ghana<\/li>\n<li>Develop and deliver an internal communication plan to align internal AGAG stakeholders.<\/li>\n<li>Develop and implement a communications plan to address all AGAG legacy risks and issues<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate communications activities and company events including advising management with regard to appropriate protocols when hosting events<\/li>\n<li>Research for relevant information affecting the industry and provide internal communications to management in an appropriate format to support informed decision making<\/li>\n<li>Build on existing and develop new external stakeholder and policy-maker relationships in order to promote the AGAG brand<\/li>\n<li>Develop and disseminate public relations materials that increase AGA\u2019s visibility among stakeholders<\/li>\n<li>Undertake feedback initiatives in order to measure the effectiveness of internal and external communications<\/li>\n<li>Nurture and sustain a culture of accountability and continuous improvement within the Corporate Affairs Department<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Qualification<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Postgraduate Degree in Communication or Business Management.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Experience\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Minimum of 3 years experience in a\u00a0similar role<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Technical Competencies<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Strong communication Skills both in oral and written<\/li>\n<li>Strong Negotiation skills<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Leadership Competencies<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Team player<\/li>\n<li>Creative Thinker<\/li>\n<li>Displaying emotional maturity<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Interested Ghanaians with the above qualification and experience should submit their applications, with a detailed CV.<\/p>\n<p><strong>CLOSING DATE:\u00a019TH JULY, 2019.<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>AngloGold Ashanti (Ghana) Limited is currently on a journey to redevelop the Obuasi Gold Mine into a modern, efficient and long-term profitable operation.
