{"id":40463,"date":"2019-07-18T14:43:12","date_gmt":"2019-07-18T14:43:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/?p=40463"},"modified":"2019-07-18T14:43:12","modified_gmt":"2019-07-18T14:43:12","slug":"modec-ghana-ongoing-recruitment-2019","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/modec-ghana-ongoing-recruitment-2019.html","title":{"rendered":"MODEC Ghana Ongoing Recruitment 2019"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>This role is deployable on both onshore and offshore with specific responsibilities identified.<\/p>\n<p>Assists in the management of safety in the premises and\/or on the installations through communication<\/p>\n<p>and training activities, active and reactive monitoring, and implementation of the PTW system<\/p>\n<p>Assists in achieving safety objectives and in the management of safety in the premises and\/or on the installation.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Onshore HSSEQ Advisor\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Onshore<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Manage entry of Incident reports (KNK, TEN, Accra office) into MIMS and tracking of CAPAS close<\/li>\n<li>(BU MIMS Administrator)<\/li>\n<li>Support Accra office and motor vehicle HSEQ issues (Office and vehicle incident investigations<\/li>\n<li>Convene monthly Safety meeting for Accra<\/li>\n<li>Produce monthly HSEQ report for Accra office and MPR<\/li>\n<li>Provide administrative support to HSEQ Advisors for matters associated with the FPSO.<\/li>\n<li>Maintaining and updating the Environmental Impact and Aspect Registers for TEN, KNK, Takoradi<\/li>\n<li>ops, and Accra office<\/li>\n<li>Produce monthly environmental reports for KNK, TEN, Accra and Takoradi Ops<\/li>\n<li>Support HSEQ Advisors in the management of Environmental issues for the FPSOs<\/li>\n<li>Liaise with Tullow Environmental Teams<\/li>\n<li>Develop environmental campaigns<\/li>\n<li>Schedule and Lead Environmental audits on KNK, TEN, Accra and Takoradi Ops.<\/li>\n<li>Develop carbon footprint reduction initiatives<\/li>\n<li>Responsible for managing the malaria control program<\/li>\n<li>Develop initiatives for health and work-life balance.<\/li>\n<li>Carry out health and hygiene audits and advise<\/li>\n<li>Handle Security management issues, planned and periodic security risk assessment of MPSG Office and company-provided apartments<\/li>\n<li>Assist Office Admin Team in HSEQ matters<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Offshore<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Carry out the FPSO safety induction program<\/li>\n<li>Plan and arrange training and exercises for emergency response teams<\/li>\n<li>Train and access new personnel in the Permit to Work (PTW) system<\/li>\n<li>Carry out weekly site safety inspections with department heads as per site safety inspection<\/li>\n<li>program<\/li>\n<li>Carry out worksite inspections on a daily basis, including monitoring of compliance<\/li>\n<li>with the PTW system<\/li>\n<li>Arrange daily safety\/PTW meetings and safety assessment<\/li>\n<li>Assist the HSEQ Lead in safety-related matters in day-to-day operations<\/li>\n<li>Monitor implementation of the FPSO Waste Management Plan<\/li>\n<li>Chair monthly general safety meeting<\/li>\n<li>Develop and implement proactive safety initiatives and programs<\/li>\n<li>Maintain and analyze accident data and recommend proactive solutions to reduce the frequency and<\/li>\n<li>severity of accidents<\/li>\n<li>Conduct periodic audits of facilities and equipment to comply with code requirements, identify safety hazards, prevent accidents<\/li>\n<li>Co-ordinate safety familiarisation rounds (Safety Sunday)<\/li>\n<li>Co-ordinate NOI reports<\/li>\n<li>Participate in the incident investigation as per IRIA and MIMS procedures<\/li>\n<li>Main and follow up on CAPA \/ EMEX actions to meet close-out requirements<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Degree qualified \u2013 Environmental or Engineering preferred<\/li>\n<li>Formal safety qualification \u2013 NEBOSH International general certificate<\/li>\n<li>Lead Auditor qualification<\/li>\n<li>Minimum 3 years\u2019 experience in similar role\/high risk industry preferred<\/li>\n<li>BOSIET\/HUET<\/li>\n<li>Risk Assessment<\/li>\n<li>Basic training experience<\/li>\n<li>Basic report writing skills<\/li>\n<li>Basic knowledge in incident investigation<\/li>\n<li>Good communication skills<\/li>\n<li>Involved in safety meeting delivery<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This role is deployable on both onshore and offshore with specific responsibilities identified.
