{"id":405,"date":"2010-07-14T02:08:23","date_gmt":"2010-07-14T02:08:23","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/?p=405"},"modified":"2010-07-09T10:13:51","modified_gmt":"2010-07-09T10:13:51","slug":"komfo-anokye-teaching-hospital-transport-manager","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/komfo-anokye-teaching-hospital-transport-manager.html","title":{"rendered":"Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital: Transport manager"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Job Summary:<\/strong><br \/>\nTo ensure availability and reliability of transport to all technical and administrative programmes of the Service at facility level for efficient service delivery at all times<\/p>\n<p>Contribute to the preparation of annual procurement plans and budget for vehicles and motorcycles<br \/>\nWrite specification for the purchase of new and used vehicles working within the budget that has been established<br \/>\nCarry out assessment on vehicles and motocycles and assist in drawing up vehicle disposal and replacement program<br \/>\nProvide technical advice for the selection as well as disposal of vehicles and motorcycles in a cost effective manner<br \/>\nAdvice on appropriate use and lifespan of vehicles and motorcycles<br \/>\nPlay active role in coordinating the operation, maintenance and repair activities to obtain optimum utilization of all vehicles and motorcycles<br \/>\nEnsure compliance with the transport policy in the facility<br \/>\nEnsure the safe and legal operation of vehicle<br \/>\nKeep vehicle fleet inventory in the facility and Conduct periodic transport audit<br \/>\nContribute to the preparation of fleet maintenance report<br \/>\nMonitor and evaluate transport operations and performance<br \/>\nFacilitate the establishments of Accident\/Incident committees<br \/>\nControl the use of fuel and lubricants<br \/>\nPerform other official duties that may be assigned<\/p>\n<p><strong>Required Skills or Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Bsc Mechanical Engineering or Equivalent and at least three (3) years working experience plus continuing professional development and training in management<br \/>\nKnowledge:<br \/>\nKnowledge in auto engineering and general repair\/maintenance of vehicles and motorcycles<br \/>\nKnowledge and understanding of MOH Transport Policies and Procedures<br \/>\nKnowledge and understanding of KATH adminstrative set up and operating procedures<br \/>\nKnowledge of Health and Safety<br \/>\nAbilities:<br \/>\nEffective communication skills<br \/>\nGood interpersonal skills<br \/>\nAbility to move from one place to another easily<br \/>\nAbility to initiate and maintain clear, concise documentation<br \/>\nNegotiation skills<br \/>\nComputer skills<br \/>\nReport writing skills<br \/>\nAbilities to drive a vehicle and ride a motorcycle<\/p>\n<p><strong>Personal Qualities:<\/strong><br \/>\nIntegrity, flexibility, enthusiasm, motivation, commitment, courteous, considerate, team player and trustworthy<\/p>\n<p><strong>How To Apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Interested persons should apply with their CVs, copies of relevant certificates and names and contact information of three referees to:<\/p>\n<p>CHIEF EXECUTIVE<br \/>\nKOMFO ANOKYE TEACHING HOSPITAL<br \/>\nP.O.
