Voltic (GH) Limited, has been known for manufacturing of the leading premium water brand in Ghana for over two decades. Currently, Voltic (GH) Limited has expanded its portfolio to cover alcoholic beverages, carbonated soft drinks, Juices and Value Added Dairies. The Credit Controller position is accountable for the entire credit granting process, including the consistent application of a credit policy, periodic credit reviews of existing customers, and the assessment of the creditworthiness of potential customers, with the goal of optimizing the mix of company sales and bad debt losses.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Credit or Account Receivables Controller<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><span class=\"requisitiondetails-label\">Key Duties &amp; Responsibilities<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span id=\"ctl00_cphContent_ncRequisition_ctl24_requisitionControl\"><span id=\"ctl00_cphContent_ncRequisition_ctl24_requisitionControl_lblLabel\">Credit risk assessment of all potential customers and review of credit risk of existing customers.<br \/>\n. Develop credit reports covering the performance and quality of accounts receivables portfolio.<br \/>\n. Ensure customers pay within their agreed payment terms as per the company\u2019s credit policy.<br \/>\n. Ensure reconciliation of customer accounts.<br \/>\n. Address customer account queries timely to ensure a satisfactory conclusion.<br \/>\n. Hold weekly team meetings to discuss progress against plans and take remedial actions where necessary.<br \/>\n. Handle disputed accounts and negotiate realistic payments on timely basis.<br \/>\n. Mentor and develop the Credit Officers.<br \/>\n. Obtain credit references of distributors and wholesalers and ensure that all required documentations are obtained.<br \/>\n. Validating credit limits with District Managers.<br \/>\n. Responsible for organizing credit committee meetings.<br \/>\n. Any other duties as may be assigned in line with business objectives.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><span class=\"requisitiondetails-label\">Skills, Experience &amp; Education<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span id=\"ctl00_cphContent_ncRequisition_ctl26_requisitionControl\"><span id=\"ctl00_cphContent_ncRequisition_ctl26_requisitionControl_lblLabel\">. Undergraduate degree in Finance\/Accounting<br \/>\n. Masters in Finance \/ Accounting will be an added advantage<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word and PowerPoint.<br \/>\n\u2022 At least 4 years of proven experience in a credit \/financial risk discipline<br \/>\n\u2022 Good knowledge of Syspro or SAP<br \/>\n\u2022 Demonstrate leadership across the organization and within the team<br \/>\n\u2022 Demonstrate effective management capabilities<br \/>\n\u2022 Display a high degree of honesty, accuracy, numeracy, reliability and attention to detail<br \/>\n\u2022 Engage in a professional and collaborative manner with staff at all levels across the organization;<br \/>\n\u2022 Effective communication and networking skills.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>An exciting job offer exists in Voltic Ghana Limited for Credit or Account Receivables (AR) Controller in Accra.
