Our students take the Cambridge International Exams, IGCSE and the AS\/A Level Exams.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Internal Auditor<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>THE POSITION:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>We are looking to recruit an objective internal auditor to add value and improve our operations by bringing a systematic and disciplined approach to the effectiveness of risk management, control, and governance processes. The successful candidate will possess a thorough knowledge of accounting procedures and a sound judgement.<\/p>\n<p><strong>PRIMARY ROLE:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Perform and control the full audit cycle including risk management and control management over operations\u2019 effectiveness, financial reliability and compliance with all applicable directives and regulations<\/li>\n<li>Determine internal audit scope and develop annual plans<\/li>\n<li>Obtain,\u00a0analyze\u00a0and evaluate accounting documentation, previous reports, data, flowcharts etc.<\/li>\n<li>Prepare and present reports that reflect audit\u2019s results and document process<\/li>\n<li>Act as an objective source of independent advice to ensure validity, legality and goal achievement<\/li>\n<li>Identify loopholes and recommend risk aversion measures and cost savings<\/li>\n<li>Maintain open communication with management and audit committee<\/li>\n<li>Document process and prepare audit findings memorandum<\/li>\n<li>Conduct follow up audits to monitor management\u2019s interventions<\/li>\n<li>Engage to continuous knowledge development regarding sector\u2019s rules, regulations, best practices, tools, techniques and performance standards<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Proven working experience as Internal Auditor or\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/resources.workable.com\/senior-auditor-job-description\">Senior Auditor<\/a>\u00a0for a minimum of 5 years<\/li>\n<li>Advanced computer skills on MS Office, accounting software and databases<\/li>\n<li>Ability to manipulate large amounts of data and to compile detailed reports<\/li>\n<li>Proven knowledge of auditing standards and procedures, laws, rules and regulations<\/li>\n<li>High attention to detail and excellent analytical skills<\/li>\n<li>Sound independent judgement<\/li>\n<li>Finance and Accounting\/ACCA\/CA\/ BS degree in Accounting or Finance<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Application Instructions:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"how-to-apply\"><strong>How to Apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Kindly submit your CV, certificates, cover letter, and a letter of recommendation from your current Head and contact of two referees who would be contacted if shortlisted.
