The successful candidate must ensure that all due diligence for good operating procedures are adhered to.<br \/>\nThe role\u00a0 reports to the Project Manager\/ C.E.O.<\/p>\n<p>The role has the following responsibilities:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Represent the company in all dealings with local and central authorities, regulatory bodies and\u00a0 the media<\/li>\n<li>Establish and maintain the financial systems, procedures and cash management.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure appropriate and satisfactory systems of control in all departments.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that cost control and budgetary control policies and procedures are adhered to.<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate with project teams, clients\/contractors and agents to ensure that appropriate contracts are available and resolve contractual issues with a view of ensuring that jobs\/assignments are delivered on time.<\/li>\n<li>Act as the overall HR manager overseeing employee benefits, policies and regulations.<\/li>\n<li>Be responsible for discussions\/negotiations with representatives of unions or junior and senior staff associations, if applicable.<\/li>\n<li>Monitor and review payroll for payment of staff salaries, PAYE and social security fund.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that the company and its businesses comply with all applicable legal and regulatory requirements and best practices.<\/li>\n<li>In consultation with the CEO, perform duties on his behalf when not at post.<\/li>\n<li>Collect and collate operational data for further analysis and advise management for action.<\/li>\n<li>Support the PM\/CEO in the implementation of management decisions and other operational matters.<\/li>\n<li>Implement and manage the health and safety policy of the company.<\/li>\n<li>Prepare yearly accounts in conformity with the company\u2019s code and liaise with the external auditors on matters relating to the audit of the accounts.<\/li>\n<li>Recommend, develop and maintain financial databases, computer software systems and manual filing systems.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure the maintenance of records on stocks and undertake stock taking.<\/li>\n<li>Perform and undertake work outside of the office (bush, field, Accra etc.) when needed and according to company regulations.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p><strong>Required Skills or Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p>Roles specific qualification;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>5-7 years minimum experience in a similar position\u00a0 with 3 years in managerial role<\/li>\n<li>Degree from a recognized institution in Finance\/Accounting<\/li>\n<li>ACCA, ICAG, CA<\/li>\n<li>Good oral and written communication<\/li>\n<li>Proficient in MS office suite<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of\u00a0 any accounting software is a plus<\/li>\n<li>Good presentation skills<\/li>\n<li>Good people management skills<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Person specific qualification;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>High Integrity<\/li>\n<li>Strategic Thinker<\/li>\n<li>Broad business acumen<\/li>\n<li>Analytical skills<\/li>\n<li>Problem Solving skills<\/li>\n<li>Team Player<\/li>\n<li>Commitment and engagement<\/li>\n<li>Performance driven &amp; goal oriented<\/li>\n<li>Excellent negotiating skills<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p><strong>How To Apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>Please send all cvs to cv@platogh.com<br \/>\nkindly let the subject of the mail read the position you are applying for<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Finance Manager shall be responsible for the day to day running of the company\u00b4s administration and finance functions.
