\n\u2022 Drafts proposals for the update of procedures and guidelines for the internal audit function of the agency
\n\u2022 Leads audit teams to undertake assurance engagements and investigation of records of the agency
\n\u2022 Makes recommendations for the design and implementation of appropriate training programs for staff in the internal audit unit
\n\u2022 Monitors the performance of subordinates and submits a report
\n\u2022 Coaches, mentors and provides on-the-job training to subordinates<\/p>\n
\n\u2022 A postgraduate qualification in auditing or accounting or related field of specialization and or
\n\u2022 A certified internal auditor or professional accountant with CIA\/ICA\/ACCA\/CPA\/CIMA membership
\n\u2022 A minimum of 4 years post (professional or postgraduate) qualification relevant work experience in professional auditing and or accounting in a reputable public or private sector organization<\/p>\n
