In particular, FOCOS seeks to enhance access to optimal surgical and non-surgical care for patients with disabling musculoskeletal disorders including complex spine deformities and pediatric orthopedic problems in underserved regions. It began as a dream of the founder to see the best care reach the underserved in his native country, Ghana and the sub-Saharan region.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Accounts \/ Finance Officer<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Main Duties &amp; Responsibilities including, but not limited to;<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Developing key assumptions based on trends of the business cash outflows and using internal data and preparing comprehensive financial projections.<\/li>\n<li>Evaluating new capital asset requests assessments including cash flow.<\/li>\n<li>Providing the overall complex financial analysis focusing on revenue and expense level data.<\/li>\n<li>Working on local insurance preparation for monthly claims.<\/li>\n<li>Working on vendor reconciliations.<\/li>\n<li>Preparing detailed quarterly Profit &amp; Loss statements and forecasting commentary analysis, management presentations, and statistical analysis.<\/li>\n<li>Monitoring and ensuring compliance with the approved budgets.<\/li>\n<li>Cooperating with Senior Finance Manager on the monthly exchange rate to be used on the system.<\/li>\n<li>Submitting weekly payment reports to the Finance Manager.<\/li>\n<li>Preparing monthly payment plans and updates on all recurrent expenditure of the business.<\/li>\n<li>Performs any other duties as assigned.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Accounts Payables<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Cooperating with Treasury on Payments due.<\/li>\n<li>Reconciling Accounts Payables on a weekly basis.<\/li>\n<li>Submitting AP Report to Senior Finance Manager at the end of every week.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Fixed Assets:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Reconciling Fixed Assets on a weekly basis.<\/li>\n<li>Submitting FA Report to Senior Finance Manager at the end of every week.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Required Skills or Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>BSc. Administration (Accounting\/Finance\/) option or Bachelor of Commerce<\/li>\n<li>Accredited Member of Accounting Professional body (ACCA\/ ICAG) a plus<\/li>\n<li>A minimum of three (3) years working experience in a similar position.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent application of Advanced Excel skills<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Technical Knowledge<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ability to prepare financial reports<\/li>\n<li>Ability to pass entries using Accounting software<\/li>\n<li>Broad knowledge of all accounting standards<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Personality\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Trustworthiness \u2013 ability to conduct self in a manner which elicits trust, respect, and confidence<\/li>\n<li>Strong Analytical and problem-solving skills<\/li>\n<li>Ability to pay attention to details<\/li>\n<li>High-level integrity<\/li>\n<li>Ability to organize workload, multi-task and work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrated ability to work on own initiative.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent Software Computer skills.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"how-to-apply\"><strong>How to Apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Interested Applicants should email their CV\u2019s to\u00a0<strong>hr@focosgh.com<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Deadline for Applications: 23rd August, 2019<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>FOCOS mission is to provide comprehensive, affordable orthopedic care to those who would not otherwise have access to such treatment.
