It was granted General\u00a0Consultative Status from the United Nations\u00a0Economic and Social Council (UN ECOSOC).To make the world a place without hunger,\u00a0where people live together in harmony. we are\u00a0working in 44 countries with our focus on\u00a0community development projects to protect\u00a0children\u2019s rights and encourage the self-\u00a0reliance of communities.<\/p>\n<p>Currently, Good Neighbors Ghana seeks to\u00a0recruit the services of a\u00a0<strong>Programme Officer<\/strong>\u00a0for its new Social Economy Department.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Programme Officer<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Duties and Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>The Programme Officer will be expected to:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Work closely to develop a business plan\u00a0aimed to guide starting a social enterprise\u00a0in Ghana<\/li>\n<li>Research socio-economic, legal\u00a0environments around running a social\u00a0enterprise as well as benchmark eases in\u00a0Ghana, Africa, and developed countries<\/li>\n<li>Participate in identifying business models\u00a0of the enterprise and assessing them with\u00a0a tool<\/li>\n<li>Develop an implementation plan\u00a0of the\u00a0business model that includes value\u00a0proposition\u00a0customer\/beneficiary\u00a0analysis, pricing, HR, partnerships<\/li>\n<li>Take lead\u00a0\u00a0in coordinating activities\u00a0related to the setup of the enterprise<\/li>\n<li>Give a presentation on findings analyses to various collaborators<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Skills, Qualifications, and Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Master\u2019s degree in business, agribusiness, agricultural economics or related field required<\/li>\n<li>2 years of\u2019 the relevant work\/research experience preferred<\/li>\n<li>Business acumen in the concept of profit-making and contribution to a social cause<\/li>\n<li>Ability to read business trends in Ghana, regionally and globally<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrated experience related to business planning<\/li>\n<li>Experienced with qualitative and quantitative methods, including design,\u00a0analysis, and interpretation of results<\/li>\n<li>High level of due diligence in the management of organizational and personal resources<\/li>\n<li>Proficient in financial analysis<\/li>\n<li>Excellent writing and editing skills in\u00a0Enghsh language<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Duration of contract:\u00a0<\/strong>One (1) year (with annual renewal)<\/p>\n<p class=\"how-to-apply\"><strong>How to Apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Qualified candidates are invited\u00a0to submit their CV\u00a0and a one-page cover letter\u00a0outlining how they meet the above requirements to Good Neighbors Ghana<\/p>\n<p><strong>gngh.recruit@gmail.com<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>before\u00a0<strong>5:00 p.m., Friday.
