All with unique skills that we bring to the critically important work that we do.\u00a0In Ghana, PSI is supporting the implementation of the U.S. President\u2019s Malaria Initiative (PMI) VectorLink Project.<\/p>\n Join us!<\/strong><\/p>\n The successful candidate for this position will join the PMI VectorLink Project\u2019s Ghana team as the team\u2019s ITN Technical Advisor.\u00a0Working across 23 countries in sub-Saharan Africa as well as Cambodia, the PMI VectorLink Project is equipping countries to plan and implement safe, cost-effective and sustainable life-saving malaria vector control interventions with the overall goal of reducing the burden of malaria. \n Education<\/strong><\/td>\n You hold a relevant graduate degree (MPH, MBA, MSc, etc.) in public health, logistics management, marketing, or business.\u00a0 Alternatively, you have a bachelor\u2019s degree with at least 10 years of additional relevant experience.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n \n Experience<\/strong><\/td>\n You have at least 8 years of relevant experience working with malaria control programs in Ghana, preferably ITN-related programs.\u00a0 As a demonstrated leader in the field of malaria control in Ghana, you have an established reputation.\u00a0 You have proven experience designing or managing ITN continuous or mass distribution activities.\u00a0 However, despite your experience, you are an information sponge and understand what worked yesterday may not necessarily work today (or tomorrow), that each context is different.\u00a0<\/strong><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n \n Savviness<\/strong><\/td>\n As a proven leader with a positive reputation in the field of malaria control in Ghana, you have demonstrated an ability to contribute to the vector control technical and policy debate in Ghana.\u00a0 You are a proactive leader who catalyzes innovation by both leading and working through others.\u00a0 You know how to get things done.\u00a0 You quickly distil complexity to essential and simple concepts and approaches.\u00a0<\/strong><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n \n Collaboration<\/strong><\/td>\n You are able to coordinate and work effectively with diverse stakeholders in numerous locations and levels, including donors, government officials and bodies, other technical experts, other implementing organizations, civil society organizations, community members and organizations, private sector entities, and project support staff.\u00a0 As an established leader in the field of malaria control in Ghana, ideally, you have a close, collaborative relationship with the Ghana Health Service and National Malaria Control Program and experience working with diverse donors, including USAID, PMI, DFID, Global Fund, BMGF.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n \n Communication<\/strong><\/td>\n You write with clarity and feel comfortable speaking up when you have something important to say. You\u2019re not afraid of public speaking and have developed good skills in this arena. You have excellent interpersonal skills, with great experience communicating across cultures. Ability to work in English is essential.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n
