This involves upward communication with senior management and the Executive on the overall strategy of the department.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Head Agency Banking<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>2.\u00a0\u00a0DIMENSIONS<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Revenue growth of business unit<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Channel health dynamics<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Product design and implementation<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Go-to-market systems design<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Strategic partnership development<\/p>\n<p><strong>4.\u00a0\u00a0KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS &amp; EXPERIENCE REQUIRED<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0A minimum of 6 years working experience in distribution management in Telco, FMCG or Banking<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Minimum first degree in a relevant field and from a recognized university<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Sound knowledge of the Bank\u2019s policies and procedures.<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Familiar with current Agency Banking guidelines issued by the BoG<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Excellent multicultural awareness and management skills,<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Good communication and inter personal skills<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0High degree of team building and supervisory skills<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Good relationship management skills<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PPT etc)<\/p>\n<p><strong>5.\u00a0KEY RESULT AREAS<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Execution:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Recruit, screen, select and manage potential agents in the sales and service of offerings at the agent channel<\/li>\n<li>Provide strategic direction to ANMs, Agent Officers and BSSMs towards the attainment of business unit\u2019s objectives<\/li>\n<li>Implement a robust liquidity management program to prevent out of stock (OOS) and over stock (OVS) situations<\/li>\n<li>Maintain branding consistency and visibility in trade<\/li>\n<li>Grow agents along the tiers<\/li>\n<li>Provide strong leadership to the go-to-market team<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Core Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Lead the incorporation of regularor and organizational policies and procedures in business unit operations<\/li>\n<li>Monitor and review team\u2019s project activities and ensure that they are brought to completion within scheduled period of time and budget<\/li>\n<li>Provide effective leadership to team\u2019s business activities that have to do with its strategic and financial growth<\/li>\n<li>Create new strategies for marketing and monitoring QC and QA measures<\/li>\n<li>Build effective relationship with the agents and other channel partners so as to maintain good revenue growth for the organization<\/li>\n<li>Perform efficient finance management<\/li>\n<li>Perform review of equipment and system layouts and its validation<\/li>\n<li>Ensure harmonious environment for working<\/li>\n<li>Responsible for training and mentoring agency banking and branch staff; motivating them all for effective performance for the general growth of the company<\/li>\n<li>Set up the business unit\u2019s strategies for promotional activities<\/li>\n<li>Analyze and explore market trends; identifying new opportunities in all territories of the country<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate with other teams e.g. BCC, Internal Control, IT, Compliance, Internal Audit, Credit and Banking Operations in order to develop plans for launching of new products, and then its implementation<\/li>\n<li>Develop and communicate the expectation levels and vision of the company to members of unit. This must feed into the broader corporate vision and goals<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate with other heads of departments, integrating objectives and ideas for organizational growth<\/li>\n<li>Allocate resources to various centers and regions; all aimed at producing results<\/li>\n<li>Develop collaborative working relationships within the branch network in pursuit of the business unit\u2019s overall business goals.<\/li>\n<li>Sharing customer feedback and insights to relevant stakeholders<\/li>\n<li>Use relevant metrics and measures to routinely monitor progress against targets and take appropriate action to ensure targets are met or exceeded<\/li>\n<li>Provide sales performance and other business intelligence data to support decision making at the Sales and Channels Directorate<\/li>\n<li>Maintain effective working relationships with staff, vendors, development partners and other stakeholders for the advancement of business objectives<\/li>\n<li>Develop and implement Agency Banking\u2019s sales strategy across key market segments to ensure that the business unit identifies and optimizes a clear path to aggressive growth.<\/li>\n<li>Develop a multi-prong business development and management approach \u2013 organic growth, strategic partnerships, outsourcing, etc<\/li>\n<li>Implementation of a robust liquidity management structure to reduce to the barest minimum instances of OOS and OVS<\/li>\n<li>Support the Inclusive Banking Strategy<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Key performance Indicators<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Revenue Growth<\/li>\n<li>Customer acquisition and satisfaction<\/li>\n<li>Agent network health and growth<\/li>\n<li>Top of Mind Awareness and channel utilization parameters<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Responsible for planning, directing wholly or partly the administrative services agency banking business unit.
