Salary and conditions are among the best in the country, inclusive of a company provided vehicle and fuel in each case<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The Role:<br \/>\n<\/strong>The Logistics Manager reports to the Managing Director and is responsible for the movement and distribution of goods, services and other inventories through the integration of information, transportation, inventory management, warehousing, material handling, and packaging. He is also responsible for the security of items in his charge and must put in adequate safety and protection measures<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Develop and implement the processes involved in the supply chain, liaising with a variety of parties\u00a0including suppliers of materials, manufacturers, retailers and consumers<\/li>\n<li>Coordination of processes to ensure customer satisfaction based on an awareness of and strategic response to external influences, such as legislation, fuel costs and environmental pressures<\/li>\n<li>Ensure the distribution of items through appropriate transportation, stock control, warehousing, and putting structures in place to monitor the flow of foods and materials<\/li>\n<li>Use appropriate information and communications technology in forecasting increasingly complex systems of stock levels, delivery times, transport costs and performance evaluation<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p><strong>Required Skills or Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor&#8217;s Degree preferably in the field of business administration, management, industrial technology, or industrial engineering<\/li>\n<li>Must have strong leadership ability<\/li>\n<li>Good interpersonal and\u00a0communication skills<\/li>\n<li>Good\u00a0planning and organizational skills<\/li>\n<li>Minimum of 6\u00a0years experience in logistics management of which 3\u00a0years should be in a supervisory role<\/li>\n<li>Working knowledge\u00a0of logistics management\u00a0information systems, MS\u00a0Word, Access, Excel and PowerPoint<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p><strong>How To Apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>Interested persons should send their applications to:<\/p>\n<div>\n<strong>THE CHAIRMAN &#8211; SEARCH COMMITTEE<br \/>\nE-mail: <\/strong><a href=\"mailto:talentpoolghana@yahoo.com\"><strong>talentpoolghana@yahoo.com<\/strong><\/a><strong><\/p>\n<p>NB:<\/strong> Please Take Note, Only Shortlisted Candidates will be contacted for interview<\/div>\n<p>Closing: 5th July, 2011<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Our client is one of the top companies in Ghana, looking to fill the following positions.
