RELATIONSHIPS<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Internal:\u00a0<\/strong>Workshop staff, drivers\/operators<strong>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>External:<\/strong>\u00a0Technical consultants, Service Providers<strong>\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Main Purpose of Appointment:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Construction of implements, machines and repair\/alterations of existing vehicles, equipment and implements<\/p>\n<p><strong>Functions of Appointment:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Manufacture implements and equipment<\/li>\n<li>Repair existing implements and equipment<\/li>\n<li>Repair vehicles and maintenance<\/li>\n<li>Help fellow workshop staff with maintenance if applicable<\/li>\n<li>Workshop housekeeping<\/li>\n<li>Adhere to company policies on occupational health, safety and environmental issues<\/li>\n<li>Perform any other activities\/functions assigned by the Workshop Supervisor, Technical manager<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>JOB HOLDER SPECIFICATION<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Formal Education:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>National Vocational Technical Institute \u2013 Welding certificate or equivalent\/higher qualification<\/p>\n<p><strong>Experience:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>At least 5 years technical\/practical welding and fabrication experience<\/li>\n<li>8 years experience<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Personal qualities and competencies:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Deliver quality service<\/li>\n<li>Respond to requests and inquiries from drivers\/operators and line management effectively and timeously<\/li>\n<li>Work independently in the absence of supervision<\/li>\n<li>Understand and follow oral and written instructions<\/li>\n<li>Understanding of
