Data mining and analysis of product\/services and quality control plans to identify improvements.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Supervisory Contractor, MFS Data Support<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Role<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Interpret data, analyse results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports.<\/li>\n<li>Data mining on mobile money products and services to guide decision making.<\/li>\n<li>Develop data models to optimize product analysis efficiency and quality.<\/li>\n<li>Identify, analyse, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets.<\/li>\n<li>Perform data quality assurance and assessment to locate and correct negative trends.<\/li>\n<li>Assist in preparing statutory and management reports.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Context:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Innovation to differentiate from competitors<\/li>\n<li>Provide other revenue lines to complement P2P,Cash Out and Advance Services<\/li>\n<li>Highly regulated environment<\/li>\n<li>Provide focus for business growth<\/li>\n<li>Performance driven environment<\/li>\n<li>Diverse cultural environment<\/li>\n<li>Contract employees management<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Education:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>BS in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management or Statistics \uf0b7 Certificate in Database Management (MySQL, Oracle)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Experience:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Strong knowledge of and experience with reporting packages (Business Objects, BIB etc), databases (SQL, ORACLE etc), programming (XML, Javascript, or ETL frameworks)<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasets (Excel, SPSS, SAS etc)<\/li>\n<li>Technical expertise regarding data models, database design development, data mining and segmentation techniques.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Professional Competencies<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Teamwork and cooperation, Customer Centric, Performance excellence<\/li>\n<li>Analytical<\/li>\n<li>Proven working experience as a data analyst or business data analyst<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Technical Competencies<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Microsoft word and Excel<\/li>\n<li>SQL, SPSS, SAS etc<\/li>\n<li>ORACLE<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Behavioural qualities<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Customer focus,<\/li>\n<li>Eye for details<\/li>\n<li>Integrity<\/li>\n<li>Performance excellence<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Must live the MTN Values of<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Can Do; Integrity; leadership; Innovation; Relationships<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Must Live the MTN Vital Behaviours of;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Complete Candor, Complete Accountability, Active Collaboration and Get it Done<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Conducting full lifecycle analysis to include requirements, activities and insight into trends.
