You must be curious enough to try out new tools to detect issues quickly and achieve 99.99% uptimes.<\/p>\n<p>In addition you should have technical knowledge, skills and experience on the following:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Analytics, metrics and monitoring systems such as Grafana, Nagios, graphite, statsd etc. Automating scripts and tests<\/li>\n<li>Databases \u2013 MySQL and PGSQL<\/li>\n<li>Centralized logging \u2013 GrayLog<\/li>\n<li>Cloud computing platforms and technologies (Amazon Web Services :VPC, EC2, RDS, VPNs)<\/li>\n<li>Deep understanding of operating systems virtualization and Linux internals<\/li>\n<li>Understanding of complex systems with respect to microservices architecture<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Monitor day to day operation of large scale computing infrastructure involving large amounts of data.<\/li>\n<li>Monitor core platform services and\u00a0data streaming\u00a0consumer services.<\/li>\n<li>Fix periodic issues regarding production performance to assure the integrity of data at all times<\/li>\n<li>Help to implement ideas on how to best support and deliver uptimes in excess of 99.99%.<\/li>\n<li>Determine cause of downtimes and take appropriate actions to resolve same.<\/li>\n<li>Assist in triage and incident management with collection and analysis of performance metrics.<\/li>\n<li>Provide technical support to Customer Service Representatives as required.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Hubtel has 3 vacancies\u00a0 for the position of Production Performance Engineer.
