As a claim investigator and recovery Associate\u00a0you will be the link between our affiliated offices, lawyers and partners and our international clients.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Legal Recovery &amp; Investigation Associate<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>International Advisers is looking for an African Legal Investigator and Recovery Associate with (legal) experience, to join our team in Accra.<\/p>\n<p>As a Legal Investigator and Recovery Associate you will be responsible for:<\/p>\n<p>Investigating the validity of the credit insurance claim by:<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0contacting the buyer;<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0obtaining recognition of the claim;<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0discussing the reasons for non-payment;<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0obtaining proofs in case of disputes;<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0contacting shipping agencies and warehouses to establish the factual entry of goods in the country.<\/p>\n<p>Negotiations and Recovery of outstanding claims:\u00a0This entails contacting buyers as well as making recovery and settlement plans.<\/p>\n<p>Your primary responsibilities will include the following:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Investigating and managing Credit Insurance Claims.<\/li>\n<li>(Legal) Recovery of debts.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Fluent in English<\/li>\n<li>Law degree<\/li>\n<li>Strong negotiation skills<\/li>\n<li>Experience in dealing with International trade<\/li>\n<li>Prior Collection Experience\u00a0at a Law Firm\u00a0is an advantage<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>IA is a company specialized in claim investigation and recovery, solely active in the field of credit insurance.
