Position Summary<\/p>\n
The USAID-funded Health Policy Project (HPP) managed by Futures Group is seeking a Program Advisor in Ghana. HPP is seeking a person with quantitative skills to support costing and research activities, as well as computer modeling (or with willingness to learn modeling).<\/p>\n
Key Responsibilities<\/p>\n
\u2022 The candidate will be responsible for implementation of day-to-day activities in Ghana in close collaboration and consultation with Futures HQ and the Ghanaian partners. \u2022 Assist Futures Group in complying with legal and operational issues related to work in Ghana. \u2022 In consultation with Futures Group HQs team, hire a local administrative assistant. \u2022 Implement and monitor day-to-day activities as per HPP\u2019s work plan (pending approval) in close collaboration with Futures HQ and Ghanaian partners. \u2022 Coordinate closely with Ghanaian stakeholders including government agencies and health partners to implement Futures Group implemented project activities in Ghana. \u2022 Provide technical assistance to Futures Group implemented project activities in Ghana. \u2022 Any other tasks as necessary.<\/p>\n
Qualifications<\/p>\n
\u2022 The candidate should have 5-10 years of experience in health programs and preferably possess a graduate degree (MPH or other). \u2022 Candidate should have excellent knowledge of policies and programs in the fields of HIV\/AIDS, family planning and reproductive health, including stigma reduction, in Ghana. \u2022 The candidate must be flexible and a team player with good communication skills, including writing skills. \u2022 Candidates must be authorized to work in Ghana.<\/p>\n
