Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n Job Title:\u00a0Project Manager<\/strong><\/p>\n The Project Manager is charged with managing and implementing programs that are funded by International Narcotics & Law Enforcement (INL) and JTIP grants, achieving the various objectives in support of the larger goal of combatting human trafficking across Ghana, and engaging with various internal and external shareholders relevant these objectives.<\/p>\n This position includes maintaining relationships with grantors, timely submission of reports, monitoring existing grants until completion, and ensuring that the various teams meet their targets specified in the grants. He\/she will collaborate or work with other grant specialists, program managers, accountants, the LJM team, and partner organisations working on grant-funded projects.<\/p>\n Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n \u2022 Create, manage an revise a detailed grant implementation plan with regards to multiple US government funded grants. \n\u2022 Manage detailed implementation of grant-funded projects, including compliance with all grantor regulations,
\n\u2022 Organise and lead quarterly grant programme review meetings and presentations.
\n\u2022 Provide regular input, critical analysis, and feedback to the Director of and Partnerships, the Director of Justice Projects, the Country Director, and the
\n\u2022 Strategic Engagement Officer, as well as the regional programme management team on strategic and tactical considerations covering all of programme implementation.
\n\u2022 Work with programme leaders to develop and review appropriate implementation strategies.
\n\u2022 Facilitate maintenance and use of internal and external data and research to benefit the programme.
\n\u2022 Develop technical programme reports for grantors and external partners.
\n\u2022 Manage communication of all grant reporting processes, procedures, and updates (internal and external) in consultation with the Strategic Engagement Offcer.
\n\u2022 Ensure multi-disciplinary collaboration between IJM divisions and IJM implementing partners.
\n\u2022 Document and report information required for programme analysis, reearch, learning and M&E<\/p>\n
\n\u2022 At least 6 years\u2019 experience in successful project and programme management of complex development programmes, including grant acquisition and management
\n\u2022 Experience working effectively cross-culturally and across multiple time zones.
\n\u2022 A Programme Management Certification preferred.
\n\u2022 Experience managing grants funded by the US or UK government strongly preferred<\/p>\n
\n\u2022 Planning, organising and multi-tasking skills
\n\u2022 Proficiency with Microsoft Office
\n\u2022 Superb written and verbal communication skills
\n\u2022 Ability to use tools for monitoring and evaluation and data analysis
\n\u2022 Organised and able to work in a dynamic environment
\n\u2022 Ability to work under pressure and strict deadlines<\/p>\n
