Ltd is currently the sole franchisee of Hertz in Ghana.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Interns (Automotive Technicians &amp; Mechanics)<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Reports to: Workshop Manager<\/li>\n<li>Desired start date: ASAP<\/li>\n<li>Duration: 3 months (minimum)<\/li>\n<li>Job Code: SSP-AMEI-071019<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Position Summary<\/strong><br \/>\nSylva Spare Plus Company Limited has been operating in Ghana for more than 18 years and proudly representing high end brands for Trucks, Cars and Generators in various locations including Tema, Spintex, Kumasi and Takoradi.<\/p>\n<p>The company is in search of auto mechanical and auto engineering graduates to participate in its internship programme starting in November 2019. The aim of the programme is to give fresh graduates a real-world environment with our trained technicians and mechanics. Interns will be tasked with assisting the workshop team with prevention maintenance, diagnostics and repair of vehicles and trucks. They will also participate in mini projects in relation to development of SOPs, reporting templates and research.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Interns will perform the following duties:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Support the workshop team with mechanical diagnosis and repairs for all brands according to manufacturer standards in a manner that guarantees quality and efficiency<\/li>\n<li>Support with mechanical, electrical diagnosis and repairs according to manufacturers\u2019 standards<\/li>\n<li>Handle mini projects including documenting procedures and guidelines, designing reporting templates, research etc;<\/li>\n<li>Participate in in-house training and assessment exercises organized for workshop team.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Required Skills or Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A good first degree in Electrical Auto Engineering, Mechanical Auto Engineering or equivalent is required;<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge and familiarity with diagnostic and auto repair tools and equipment;<\/li>\n<li>Willingness to participate in in-house training programmes;<\/li>\n<li>Ability to maintain professional standards;<\/li>\n<li>Smart, highly motivated and a quick learner;<\/li>\n<li>Females are strongly encouraged to apply.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Job Locations : Tema, Kumasi and Takoradi<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"how-to-apply\"><strong>How to Apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">Interested applicants should send their CVs, Cover Letters and educational certificates to:<strong>\u00a0careers.automobile19@gmail.com<\/strong>\u00a0<u><strong>Note<\/strong><\/u><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The subject line of the email should read: Interns (Automotive Technicians &amp; Mechanics)<\/li>\n<li>Applicants who apply early have a better chance of being selected<\/li>\n<li>Due to high volume of applications received, we will only contact shortlisted candidates.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><strong>\u00a0All Internships are unpaid.
