\nDuty Manager<\/p>\n

Under the guidance of the Front Office Manager assess, evaluate and ensure that long-term and short-term of the department are met. Support and assist Front Office and all Departments in the hotel to ensure a smooth, prompt and effective service to all guests.
\nDirect and manage Front Office in absence of the Front Office Manager, respectively Assistant Front Office Manager.<\/p>\n

Main Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u2022 Ensures the smooth running of the operations on a day to day basis and in a pro active manner.
\n\u2022 Ensures that as per Kempinski Health & Safety Policy the Fire Exits are free of obstacles.
\n\u2022 Support and assist all Front Office sections.
\n\u2022 Ensures that all guests receives prompt, cordial attention and personal recognition and resolves related problems.
\n\u2022 Inform and co-ordinate with other operating departments e.g. Housekeeping, Engineering, Sales and Butlers of Front Office matters which may concern them.
\n\u2022 Check all correspondence of the day\u2019s arrivals to familiarize with arrived and arriving guests and their needs, follows up as required.
\n\u2022 Control room availability for walk-ins and establishe accountability for guests departure dates and times.
\n\u2022 Follow up with Housekeeping any unresolved room discrepancies.
\n\u2022 Maintain reservation procedures, same day arrivals.
\n\u2022 Check all arrivals folios, follows up on credit standing of walk-in guests and validity of account to company instructions.
\n\u2022 Check all billing instructions and guest credit for accuracy. Follow up and resolve
\nrelated issues.
\n\u2022 Maintains appropriate standards of conduct, dress, uniforms, hygiene, appearance and posture for all departmental employees.
\n\u2022 Ensures that all departmental information is kept accurately and up to date.
\n\u2022 Promotes in house sales and facilities to maximize hotel revenues.
\n\u2022 Understand and carries out duties in line with Hotel Emergency Procedures.
\n\u2022Inspects Front and Back of house for cleanliness, Health & Safety and reports any faults to concerned departments.
\n\u2022Inspects guestrooms on a daily basis.
\n\u2022 Co-ordinates\/Assists security personnel in all related matters.
\n\u2022 Responds promptly to any operational requests from Front Office and other hotel departments.
\n\u2022 Attends to referred and unsolved problematic situations.
\n\u2022 Co-ordinates and assists with accommodation and transportation of guests in overbooked situations.
\n\u2022 Completes VIP, delegations and group leaders welcome and farewell as appropriate.
\n\u2022 Conduct efficient hand-over with coming Manager.<\/p>\n

Desired Skills and Qualifications
\n\u2022 Bachelor Degree in Hospitality Management or related field or MBA
\nMinimum five (5) years in Front Office Supervisory
\n\u2022 Ability to work and communicate in a multinational environment
\n\u2022 English \u2013 excellent oral and written skills
\n\u2022 Minimum 5 years Front Office Supervisory position
\n\u2022 Preferably as Section Head in 5 star property.
\n\u2022 Proven track record with good progression.
\n\u2022 Mature & Customer focused.
\n\u2022 Additional language \u2013 beneficial
\n\u2022 Supervisory skills
\n\u2022 Luxury Hotel Experiences
\n\u2022 People Oriented
\n\u2022 Passionate for European luxury
\n\u2022 Good Communication skills
\n\u2022 Ability to establish and retain effective working relationships with hotel staff and clients\/vendors.
