{"id":42258,"date":"2019-11-04T16:31:32","date_gmt":"2019-11-04T16:31:32","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/?p=42258"},"modified":"2019-11-04T16:31:32","modified_gmt":"2019-11-04T16:31:32","slug":"ceogg-organic-farm-vacancies-2019","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/ceogg-organic-farm-vacancies-2019.html","title":{"rendered":"Ceogg Organic Farm Vacancies 2019"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>CEOGG ORGANIC FARM\u00a0<\/strong>is one of Ghana\u2019s newly and privately owned multi-species nucleus breeding farm located in Kumasi in Ashanti Region, is looking for experienced\u00a0<strong>Farm Manager<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Farm Manager.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Relevant duties include;<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Advices Service Technician about production requirements and to discuss condition of equipment and status of supplies.<\/li>\n<li>Assigns workers to duties such as collecting, cleaning and sanitizing eggs, feeding and vaccinating chicken, ruminants, and cleaning and disinfecting all farmhouses.<\/li>\n<li>Directs maintenance and repair of facilities and equipment such as brooder houses, layer house, hatchery, breeding house, automatic feeders, waters, and layer nests.<\/li>\n<li>Inspects quality of litter, shavings and nests in all the farmhouses.<\/li>\n<li>Administers poultry and livestock\u2019s medications and vaccinations.<\/li>\n<li>Ensures that egg and egg room sanitation procedures are followed.<\/li>\n<li>Accountable for implementing a rodent and vector control program on the farm.<\/li>\n<li>Prepares egg production, feed consumption and chicken mortality reports as well as ruminants.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain accurate daily records regarding bag ingredient and production material\/equipment deliveries and bag feed production, inventory, Inspect loading and monitor feed quality, weight, and packaging.<\/li>\n<li>Direct the hatchery to produce the highest quality chicks at the highest percentage hatch rate possible for the lowest cost.<\/li>\n<li>Ensures completion of all quality assurance checks for the following: chicks and livestock\u2019s quality, vaccination checks, equipment checks, and maintenance work.<\/li>\n<li>Follow standard veterinary regulations as well as environmental regulations.<\/li>\n<li>Interprets company policies to workers and enforces safety regulations.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Required Skills or Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Must possess a Degree in Animal\/Veterinary Science or MSC in Agricultural Sciences<\/li>\n<li>over 10 years\u2019 experience in poultry and livestock\u2019s farming.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"how-to-apply\"><strong>How to Apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Qualified persons should send their CVs to\u00a0<strong>ceoggghfarm@hotmail.com<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Only shortlisted applicant will be contacted.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>CEOGG ORGANIC FARM\u00a0is one of Ghana\u2019s newly and privately owned multi-species nucleus breeding farm located in Kumasi in Ashanti Region, is looking for experienced\u00a0Farm Manager.
