This includes strategic financial and human resources management, efficient procurement and logistical services, ICT and common services consistent with UNDP rules and regulations.<\/p>\n<p>The main role is to lead the operations, ensuring smooth functioning of the CO\/programmes\/projects operations, consistent service delivery and constant evaluation and readjustment of the operations to take into account changes in the operating environment as and when needed.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ensuring strategic direction of operations<\/li>\n<li>Financial resources management and supervision of the Finance team<\/li>\n<li>Efficient procurement and logistical services and supervision of the Procurement team<\/li>\n<li>Common services organization and management, establishment of partnerships with other UN Agencies<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p><strong>Required Skills or Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<ul>\n<li>Master&#8217;s Degree or equivalent in\u00a0Business Administration, Public Administration, Finance, Economics or related field.<\/li>\n<li>5 years of relevant experience at the national or international level in providing management advisory services and\/or managing staff and operational systems and establishing inter-relationships among international organization and national governments.<\/li>\n<li>Experience in the usage of computers and office software packages, experience in handling of web\u00a0based management systems<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Competencies:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Promotes knowledge management in UNDP and a learning environment in the office through leadership and personal example<\/li>\n<li>Ability to lead strategic planning, results-based management and reporting<\/li>\n<li>Solid knowledge in financial resources and human resources management, contract, asset and procurement, information and communication technology, general administration<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrates good oral and written communication skills and openness to change and ability to manage complexities<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p><strong>How To Apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p>Qualified candidates are requested to send their application marked\u00a0<strong>&#8220;OPERATIONS ANALYST&#8221;<\/strong> with supporting resume including telephone numbers and email addresses to the address below:<\/p>\n<div><strong><br \/>\nThe Human Resource Unit<br \/>\nU.N.D.P.
