\n\u2022 The Regional Accountability coordinator will also support the Internal Audit Agency to strengthen the work of Audit committees at the the MMDAs level which will also include IT-based reporting system
\n\u2022 The regional accountability coordinator will be responsible for the work with Ghana Audit Service and local authorities and ensuring that the development and introduction of mechanisms and procedures for providing information on revenue and expenditure is initiated within the assigned regions
\n\u2022 These accountability mechanisms and procedures in collaboration with civil society organisations will also be extended to marginalised groups. Roles are based in Accra and Tamale respectively.<\/p>\n
\n\u2022 Is managing 8 accountability advisors remotely across the country and responsible for their onboarding, personnel development
\n\u2022 Development and implementation of work-plans and activities in close consultation with the other components and counterparts
\n\u2022 Ensuring that the implemented activities are in line with the GIZ quality standards
\n\u2022 Contribute to the programme\u2019s short and long-term organisational planning and strategy as well as contribute to the programme’s monitoring, reporting and knowledge management
\n\u2022 Strategic development and managing key relationships with partners<\/p>\n
\n\u2022 Knowledge and working experience in the area of Accountability
\n\u2022 At least 7 years professional experience with at least 5 years in a senior position
\n\u2022 Working experience with GIZ, similar development organisations and local government actors
\n\u2022 Ability to lead a remote team and coordinate programme activities together with the programme management, staff and project partners at national, regional and MMDA level
\n\u2022 Ability to express yourself well both verbally and in writing
\n\u2022 Excellent knowledge of the English language, German being an advantage<\/p>\n
