(S)He will report to the Sales Manager and will safeguard and grow revenue from allocated accounts nationally through planning, opportunity management and relationship building. The successful candidate will meet annual targets for sales and revenues, profitability and customer satisfaction.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Strategic Account Manager\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none\">\n<ul>\n<li>Prospect, develop and close new strategic deals using consultative solutions sales techniques;<\/li>\n<li>Lead virtual account teams to meet revenue targets and profitability;<\/li>\n<li>Develop contact strategies and account development plans (ADP) for each of the allocated accounts,<\/li>\n<li>Develop a pipeline of prospects which are systematically qualified and manage the decision-making process within allocated accounts to ensure sales prospects are closed;<\/li>\n<li>Ensure full integration of quality management processes within all sales activities for the allocated accounts, ensuring effective deployment on a day-to-day basis;<\/li>\n<li>Identify sales training and development needs and manage skills enhancement for self and the virtual account team;<\/li>\n<li>Ensure integrated channel management is in place and track all sales activities in CRM;<\/li>\n<li>Use relevant metrics and measures to routinely monitor progress against targets and take appropriate action to ensure targets are met or exceeded<\/li>\n<li>Provide sales performance data to support management decision-making;<\/li>\n<li>Ensure full compliance with telecommunications license provisions, sector regulations and competition laws;<\/li>\n<li>Exercise thought the leadership at C level within the allocated accounts and demonstrate an understanding of the business strategies and communications dependencies of the customer;<\/li>\n<li>Maintain effective working relationships with internal and external suppliers and with the\u00a0account teams.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Required Qualification and Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li>A University degree in any field with emphasis on Business Management, Economics or any related discipline;<\/li>\n<li>A minimum of Four (4) years\u2019 sales \/account management experience preferably in B2B;<\/li>\n<li>Experience in managing and growing multi-faceted relationship;<\/li>\n<li>Strong Needs-Based selling skills;<\/li>\n<li>Excellent communication and relationship-building skills<\/li>\n<li>Strong problem-solving skills and focus on executions;<\/li>\n<li>Good presentation and people management skills;<\/li>\n<li>Good networking and communication skills;<\/li>\n<li>Must have a valid driving license.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The successful candidate for this role will join our Enterprise Business Team as a Strategic Account Manager in the AirtelTigo Business Department.
