{"id":4241,"date":"2011-06-27T08:57:11","date_gmt":"2011-06-27T08:57:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/?p=4241"},"modified":"2013-12-26T16:16:09","modified_gmt":"2013-12-26T16:16:09","slug":"public-services-commission-ghana-vacancies-2011-deputy-director","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/public-services-commission-ghana-vacancies-2011-deputy-director.html","title":{"rendered":"Public Services Commission Ghana Vacancies 2011: Deputy Director"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>\n<div>\n<p><em>The Ministry of Youth and Sports invites applications from suitably qualified Ghanaians who are goal oriented, results driven with exceptional leadership qualities and enthusiasm for appointment to the following position in the National Sports College<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Objective of the position:<br \/>\n<\/strong>To provide administrative, leadership and operational support for the achievement of the mandate of the College<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>To ensure that approved policies in the organisation on employment, personnel records, training and wages and salaries administration are translated into good management practices and effectively carried out<\/li>\n<li>To ensure the availability of services facilities necessary to support the administrative and other functions of the college<\/li>\n<li>Initiates and implements productivity improvement schemes and cost reduction programme for the college<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p><strong>Required Skills or Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<ul>\n<li>A minimum of a Master&#8217;s Degree in Social sciences, preferably Management or Administration or any\u00a0related discipline<\/li>\n<li>A minimum of twelve (12) years\u00a0post\u00a0qualification relevant working experience, five (5) of which must be in senior management position in a reputable organisation<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Competence and Skills:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Leadership, mentoring and management sills<\/li>\n<li>Strong quantitative and qualitative and analytical<\/li>\n<li>Communication, writing, reporting and presentations skills<\/li>\n<li>Proficiency in computer, financial, procurement, budgeting, auditing and labour regulation<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>How To Apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p>Applications should be forwarded together with supporting documents, a statement of applicant&#8217;s vision for the position, a curriculum vitae, office and residential telephone numbers, e-mail and addresses of three (3) referees to:<\/p>\n<div>\n<strong>THE SECRETARY<br \/>\nPUBLIC SERVICES COMMISSION<br \/>\nP.
