{"id":42416,"date":"2019-11-12T11:23:29","date_gmt":"2019-11-12T11:23:29","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/?p=42416"},"modified":"2019-11-12T11:23:29","modified_gmt":"2019-11-12T11:23:29","slug":"vodafone-ghana-recruiting-2019","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/vodafone-ghana-recruiting-2019.html","title":{"rendered":"Vodafone Ghana Recruiting 2019"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>To effectively manage the strategy, long-range planning, design, architecting, deployment of Vodafone Ghana\u2019s transport network and IP Infrastructure to drive business objectives in line with business strategy.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Transmission &amp; Transport Manager\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Key accountabilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Plan CAPEX budget for new network transport capacity, capability and transformation that supports business requirements.<\/li>\n<li>Determine best-in-class technology solutions for the transport network.<\/li>\n<li>Represent Vodafone\u2019s interest in the management committee of relevant submarine cable systems consortia and Vodafone technical working groups<\/li>\n<li>Ensure delivery of transport network infrastructure through a well-motivated team.<\/li>\n<li>Drive value from vendors and outsourced partners by providing technical leadership.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Core competencies, knowledge and experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>University degree in Telecommunications Engineering or equivalent<\/li>\n<li>10+ years in the industry with at least three years spent in a management position<\/li>\n<li>Certifications in IP technology and project management e.g. CCDP, PRINCE2\/PMP respectively<\/li>\n<li>Experience in design, planning and delivery of network transport technologies as well as key data network nodes (BNG, DNS, DPI, PCRF, firewalls etc.)<\/li>\n<li>Experience in budget planning, demand forecasting and business case development.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>To effectively manage the strategy, long-range planning, design, architecting, deployment of Vodafone Ghana\u2019s transport network and IP Infrastructure to drive business objectives in line with business strategy.
