Sells a subset of product or services directly or via partners to a large number of named accounts\/non-named accounts\/geographical territory (mainly Tier 3 accounts).<\/p>\n

Primary job duty is to sell business applications software\/solutions and related services to prospective and existing customers. Manage sales through forecasting, account resource allocation, account strategy, and planning. Develop solution proposals encompassing all aspects of the application. Participate in the development, presentation and sales of a value proposition. Negotiate pricing and contractual agreement to close the sale. Identify and develop strategic alignment with key third party influencers.<\/p>\n

Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical\/business skills in area of specialization. 8 years applicable experience including 7 years of sales experience. Successful sales track record. Ability to penetrate accounts, meet with stakeholders within accounts. Oracle knowledge and\/or knowledge of Oracle\u2019s competitors. Interaction with C level players. Team player with strong interpersonal \/communication skills. Excellent communication\/negotiating\/closing skills with prospects\/customers. Travel may be needed. Bachelor degree or equivalent.<\/p>\n

Brief Description of the Role:<\/strong>
\nThe existing vacancy is for seasoned banking analytics software sales
\nperson to position and sell licenses for Oracle\u2019s OFSAA solutions,
\ncomprising Enterprise Risk Management, Enterprise Performance Management
\nand Data Management & Regulatory Reporting. The territory is
\ndefined as East & West Africa accounts within the banking &
\ninsurance industry.<\/p>\n

Primary objectives:<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u2022 Satisfy revenue targets for licenses across the ERM \/ EPM and Data Management solutions in Southern Africa
\n\u2022 Competency in positioning the portfolio at a \u201cC\u201d level
\n\u2022 Building a deep and active engagement model with Clients
\n\u2022 Creating a tailored \u2018case for transformation\u2019 and solution proposal with supporting the business case for each opportunity
\n\u2022 Close opportunities in a timely and managed process
\n\u2022 Sales lead generation and pipeline management
\n\u2022 Lead FSGBU account plan and coverage model to identify target Clients<\/p>\n

Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Seasoned software sales professional with solid experience in the areas
\nof Enterprise Risk Management and Enterprise Performance Management
\nwithin the Financial Service sector in East & West Africa
\n\u2022 Proven experience selling Banking industry software solutions<\/p>\n

Experience in shaping and developing significant investment initiatives\/projects\u00a0of $US 5M and upwards, including business case development,
\ndetailed solution scope, implementation approach, and plan, etc.
\n\u2022 Deep knowledge about the East & West African banking industry is vital.
\nAbility to bring in insights about the emerging trends in banks\u2019 buying
\npatterns relative to core banking systems, enterprise risk management
\nand compliance systems is vital
\n\u2022 Proven network of executive-level contacts within the African banking community.
\n\u2022 Knowledge of IT and Banking
\n\u2022 Excellent communications skill
\n\u2022 Proven problem-solving capacity, including needs analysis and business justification skills
