Key Responsibilities<\/p>\n

Account Management
\n\u2022 Be proactive and assertive
\n\u2022 Customer relationship management
\n\u2022 Schedule and execute customer meetings
\n\u2022 Clearly mapping stakeholders and understanding their needs
\nRevenue Management \u2013 Including D&D
\n\u2022 Create and manage specific customer plans allowing Maersk Line to maximize its revenue potential covering both OCE and L&S
\n\u2022 Keep abreast of market developments and report relevant information to Product and Sales\/commercial Manager
\n\u2022 Proactively assist Finance and Customer Service in clearing outstanding invoices and longstanding containers respectively
\nValue Selling through Pipeline Management
\n\u2022 Use Market Mapping to identify total potential volume for the customer
\n\u2022 Qualify customer opportunities using:
\n\u2022 Uncovering needs a framework, understanding the buying phases
\n\u2022 Using and understanding the Value Selling methodology
\n\u2022 Build strong customer-specific value propositions linking Maersk Line differentiators to customer\u2019s pains\/needs
\n\u2022 Actively use Maersk Line CRM tool
\nSales Meetings\/Activity Management
\n\u2022 Prepare for Sales meetings with clear agenda and desired outcomes in the CRM tool
\n\u2022 Follow the Value Selling principles
\n\u2022 Always send out a confirmation letter to the customer after the sales meetings<\/p>\n

Who we are looking for<\/p>\n

Background in logistics and services required
\nBachelors Degree in Marketing, Sales or Business related course
\nMinimum 3 years\u2019 sales experience in shipping\/logistics industry
\nApt knowledge of the maritime\/shipping industry is required
\nProspects for new accounts or opportunities
\n\u2022 Grows and up-sells to existing accounts, focusing on growth and profitability
\n\u2022 Strong ability to qualify leads
\n\u2022 Successfully manages the negotiation process
\n\u2022 Strong ability to develop winning customer value propositions
\n\u2022 Leverages internal and external financial data to build winning strategies and understand account economics
\n\u2022 Builds and executes winning account strategies
\n\u2022 Builds strong and lasting relationships at all levels, focusing on decision makers and influencers
\n\u2022 Builds and maintains a strong network of customers
\n\u2022 Thoroughly understands customer drivers, needs and requirements
