{"id":42801,"date":"2019-12-10T08:50:28","date_gmt":"2019-12-10T08:50:28","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/?p=42801"},"modified":"2019-12-10T08:50:28","modified_gmt":"2019-12-10T08:50:28","slug":"unicef-jobs-2019-3","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/unicef-jobs-2019-3.html","title":{"rendered":"Unicef Jobs 2019"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Internship Position To Support Social Protection Team\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The intern will undertake the following activities:<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Provide inputs to review and strengthen the M&amp;E framework for the Linkages initiative<br \/>\n\u2022 Support in data collection from the districts involved in the testing phase<br \/>\n\u2022 Contribute to the report laying out the findings from the testing phase of the initiative<br \/>\n\u2022 Help organize the national stakeholders\u00e2\u20ac\u2122 workshops to discuss findings and next steps<br \/>\n\u2022 Help to develop and produce advocacy and dissemination materials based on evidence and recommendations<br \/>\n\u2022 Support dissemination activities as required.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Expected Deliverables<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Inputs to the M&amp;E Framework for the Linkages Initiative<br \/>\n\u2022 Inputs given to the M&amp;E report<br \/>\n\u2022 Support provided in preparing and holding the national stakeholders workshop<br \/>\n\u2022 Advocacy and dissemination materials designed<\/p>\n<p><strong>Supervision and Reporting Arrangement<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u2022 The intern will be coached and closely supervised by the Social Protection Specialist at the UNICEF Accra Office.<br \/>\n\u2022 S\/he will work in close collaboration with Social Protection, Policy and Evaluation and Child Protection teams.<br \/>\n\u2022 At the end of the internship intern and supervisor must complete the respective internship evaluation forms<\/p>\n<p><strong>Qualification Required &amp; Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>To qualify as an advocate for every child you will have\u2026<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Proof of enrolment in an undergraduate or advanced programme<br \/>\n\u2022 Reference letter from school confirming student requires internship. OR<br \/>\n\u2022 Up-to date university transcript or Statement of result\/certificate evidencing completion of first degree within the last two years (if applicable).<br \/>\n\u2022 Expected field of study should be Social Sciences, particularly Sociology, Development Studies, Economics, Social Protection, Social Services or something similar<br \/>\n\u2022 Developing country work experience is considered an asset.<br \/>\n\u2022 Previous experience with conducting monitoring and evaluation, doing advocacy and organising events will be considered an asset.<br \/>\n\u2022 Fluency in English is required.
