\n\u2022 Must have at least 5 years of experience at a Senior level in effective academic management, leadership and teamwork in higher education
\n\u2022 Must be able to serve a full 4 years-term of office before attaining the age of 60<\/p>\n
\n\u2022 Evidence of experience and success in securing grants\/funding
\n\u2022 Capacity of lead with a clear vision, communicate the institute\u2019s mission and current objectives and inspire trust through an open and consultative style
\n\u2022 Capacity to lead a sizable group of academics and programme development and review, as well as quality assurance in teaching and learning
\n\u2022 Vision and commitment in promoting a student centred undergraduate experience, graduate education, training and excellence in research
\n\u2022 Excellent communication, interpersonal and people management skills
\n\u2022 Energy, persistence and enthusiasm for initiating and starting new plans, as well as keeping them going.
\n\u2022 Ability to use new technologies to enhance the quality of the processes in higher education
\n\u2022 Higher level strategic planning and development skills<\/p>\n
