{"id":4286,"date":"2011-07-04T03:22:49","date_gmt":"2011-07-04T03:22:49","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/?p=4286"},"modified":"2011-07-03T22:25:39","modified_gmt":"2011-07-03T22:25:39","slug":"judicial-service-of-ghana-recruits-deputy-director-of-finance","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/judicial-service-of-ghana-recruits-deputy-director-of-finance.html","title":{"rendered":"Judicial Service of Ghana Recruits Deputy Director of Finance"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>The Judicial Service of Ghana<\/strong> in its effort to improve on its service delivery is embarking on a search for dynamic, result-oriented and exceptionally competent individuals with proven academic and professional capabilities for the following position.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Purpose:<\/strong><br \/>\nProvides support to the Director of Finance in the provision of efficient and effective financial management.<\/p>\n<p>Provides inputs for the preparation of the Service&#8217;s budget<br \/>\nEnsures the preparation of the Service&#8217;s Financial Statement and quarterly reports<br \/>\nEnsures the maintenance of proper books of accounts<br \/>\nSupervises the preparation of bank reconciliation statement<br \/>\nDesigns systems to monitor banking duties<br \/>\nSupervises the work of subordinates<br \/>\nSupervises the application for budget releases<br \/>\nSupervises the preparation of Service&#8217;s payroll<br \/>\nSupervises the preparation of monthly, quarterly and yearly report of the Accounts Department<br \/>\nAssists the Director of Finance in the discharge of his\/her responsibilities<br \/>\nActs in the absence of Director of Finance and Administration<br \/>\nCoaches, mentors and provides on the job training for subordinates<br \/>\nPerforms other functions as may be assigned by the Director of Finance<\/p>\n<p><strong>Required Skills or Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>A Bachelor&#8217;s degree, or its equivalent from a tertiary institution<br \/>\nFinal certificate in Accounting from a professionally recognized body (ICAG, ACCA, CPA etc)<br \/>\nA  post-graduate qualification in Finance or Accounting will be an added advantage<br \/>\nA minimum of 4 years relevant work experience in a reputable public or private sector organisation, 3 years of which must be at the Senior Management level<br \/>\nBe computer literate<br \/>\nCore Competence:<br \/>\nExcellent appreciation of prevailing financial regulations<br \/>\nAnalytical skills<br \/>\nGood decision making and problem solving skills<br \/>\nTeam player<br \/>\nInterpersonal and communication skills<br \/>\nReport writing skills<br \/>\nConversant with the International Financial Reporting Standard<\/p>\n<p><strong>How To Apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Interested applicants are to submit detailed Curriculum Vitae with contact telephone numbers, E-mail addresses, relevant certificates and the contact details of three (3) references in addition to the application letter to:<\/p>\n<p>THE JUDICIAL SECRETARY<br \/>\nJUDICIAL SERVICE OF GHANA (HQ)<br \/>\nNEW ADMINISTRATION BLOCK<br \/>\nP.
