Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n Job Title:\u00a0Participatory Research Advisor<\/strong><\/p>\n Job Function:<\/strong><\/p>\n The Participatory Research Advisor is to support the effective implementation of the Reform program. organizational learning through Research and Deep Dives, and the embedding of effective and responsive data collection. analysis and reporting in line with the objectives and key performance indicators set out in the ESP.<\/p>\n Reporting to:<\/strong>\u00a0Through the Education Policy Advisor to the Coordinator of the Education Reform Secretariat<\/p>\n Tasks:<\/strong><\/p>\n Participatory Research and Deep Dives:<\/p>\n \u2022 Work with the Performance Management and Accountability, Monitoring and Evaluation Advisers in undertaking participatory research, Deep Dives, data analysis and reporting. \n\u2022 Lead in the design of Participatory Research and Deep Dive tools and activities based on approved themes and topics
\n\u2022 Provide Leadership in the design of Terms of Reference. protocols and implementation guides for Participatory Research and Deep Dive activities
\n\u2022 Provide oversight overall research and Deep Dive activities
\n\u2022 Ensure the timely reporting on Research and Deep Dive activities<\/p>\n
\n\u2022 Provide support to the PMA for data collection across Road Maps to ensure functioning and coherent monitoring and evaluation system
\n\u2022 Support the process of design of data collection tools enabling data collection management amongst the various Road Maps
\n\u2022 Contribute to instruments development, sampling design, data collection, data analysis and reporting<\/p>\n
\n\u2022 A postgraduate degree qualification degree with research in statistics or mathematics or in a relevant field
\n\u2022 Knowledge in the application of relevant data analysis tools and software
\n\u2022 Experience data collection, analysis and management frameworks and use of a range of data collection methods and instruments
\n\u2022 Experience of working in Ghana and in the education sector
\n\u2022 Experience designing data collection tools in education programmes
\n\u2022 Excellent report writing and communication skills (written and verbal)
\n\u2022 Experience working with civil society organisations, governments, donors, multilateral institutions
\n\u2022 Strong facilitation skills
\n\u2022 Strong interpersonal skills, able to work well in cross-cultural teams and under tight deadlines
\n\u2022 Understanding of gender and development issues Excellent organizational skills, including ability to prioritize tasks and handle multiple initiatives simultaneously<\/p>\n
