Airtel takes the lead with innovative services including the Airtel One network which is currently available in 16 countries in Africa and the award-winning Airtel Money (e-Commerce) service.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Purpose:<\/strong><br \/>\nControl, manage and support day to day Network Operations to ensure that the Glass Ball of Customer Experience does not fall, delivering Operational excellence and +1 Network Experience.<\/p>\n<p>Day to day management of all Network Operations &amp; Maintenance of Strategic Partners (SPs) to deliver optimal availability and perpetual quality service delivery to customers<br \/>\nSpares management to ensure availability of both critical and non critical spares<br \/>\nSupport the Operational Interface to both internal and external stakeholders especially Commercial, Customer Service Delivery and IT teams<br \/>\nPrepare and manage the annual operating plans OPEX (AOPs) for all the active and passive network systems in Airtel Ghana and ensure key focus on recurring operating expenditure<br \/>\nDrive the end to end process documentation, implementation and compliance to processes, procedures and policies to ensure seamless operations across all SPs<br \/>\nEnsure that all activities of Operations and Maintenance adhere to corresponding regulatory requirements in daily operations<br \/>\nEnsure all processes are in place for effective management of Partners<br \/>\nidentify processes that will continually improve efficiency of delivery of Key Performance Indicators<\/p>\n<p><strong>Required Skills or Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Bachelor of Electrical \/ Electronic Engineering or Telecoms Engineering<br \/>\nMasters Degree in Engineering will be an added advantage<br \/>\nSound knowledge of Mobile Network O&amp;M<br \/>\n5 years of varied experience in operations and maintenance in the Telecom industry<br \/>\nWith at least 2 years of senior experience in an area of network operations<br \/>\nAbility to innovative and deliver value to business<br \/>\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills<br \/>\nAnalytical, Strategic negotiation skills and Presentation skills<\/p>\n<p><strong>How To Apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Qualified candidates should email their resume or CV, quoting the respective references in the subject of the email to: <strong>resourcing.gh@gh.africaairtel.com<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Offer valid till:\u00a020 Jul, 2011<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Airtel was launched in Ghana in November 2010 as one of the 16 operating countries of Airtel International.
