My client is Real Estate \/ Property Group looking for a Finance Manager, responsible for the financial function for all the Group entities in Ghana. This includes co-ordination of financial recording, reporting and controls, assisting budget preparation, asset and cash flow management. \n\u2022\u00a0Carry out analytical checks on financial report data highlighting key trends, variances from budget and k.p.i.\u2019s etc., and report to Group head office.<\/p>\n
\n\u2022\u00a0Attend Ghana audit committee and financial risk committee meetings.
\n\u2022\u00a0Present AFS to Group head office.
\n\u2022\u00a0Responsible for all compliance issues.
\n\u2022\u00a0Liaise with auditors as required.<\/p>\n
\n\u2022\u00a0Making payments and oversee payment cycle.<\/p>\n
\n\u2022\u00a0Liaise regularly with Group FM on financial reports and results, capex and working capital, monthly results, deviations from plan, etc.
\n\u2022\u00a0Oversee and liaise with Financial Operations on progressive transition to\u00a0new software.
\n\u2022\u00a0Liaise with Group FM and Property \/ Asset managers on any variances in monthly\/quarterly operating results.<\/p>\n
\n\u2022\u00a0Contributes strongly to policy formulation and planning.
\n\u2022\u00a0Developed communication skills to negotiate (mainly internally, some external contact) and lead a small team of professionals.
\n\u2022\u00a0Strong knowledge base of Ghanaian tax law.
\n\u2022\u00a0Strong knowledge base of Ghanaian exchange control and Central bank processes.<\/p>\n
\n<\/strong>
\n\u2022\u00a0CA (SA) essential (or equivalent ie: ACCA \/ OCAM)<\/p>\n
\n<\/strong>
\n\u2022\u00a0Minimum of 5 years\u2019 relevant experience with not less than 3 \u2013 5 years in a senior financial management position.
\n\u2022\u00a03 years\u2019 experience in a property environment dealing with industry specific accounting issues highly desirable.<\/p>\n

\n\u2022\u00a0Required to manage a team of financial staff in a large listed corporate structure.
