Research and Grant Institute of Ghana (REGIG) is looking for a dynamic, energetic, purposeful, goal-oriented and team player to join its management team.<\/p>\n

Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n

Job Title:\u00a0Research Administrator<\/strong><\/p>\n

Reporting to: Executive Director<\/p>\n

Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n

1.Create, update, and maintain records and databases of research grants, grant sources, research opportunities
\n2.Create, update, and maintain records and databases of personnel, financial and other data
\n3.Carry out clerical duties such as managing phone calls and correspondence (e-mail, letters, packages etc.) and taking minutes at meetings
\n4.General office management such as Keeping stock of office supplies and place orders when necessary and keeping, updating asset register
\n5.Oversee the maintenance of office facilities, and equipment.
\n6.Maintaining REGIG\u2019s social media accounts and website
\n7.Submit timely event-specific and annual reports and prepare presentations\/proposals
\n8.Perform bookkeeping tasks such as invoicing, monitoring accounts receivable, and budget tracking.
\n9.Organize, arrange and coordinate both internal and external events\/programs\/activities, including travels.
\n10.Attend workshops, meetings and conferences when requested
\n11.Ensure adherence to relevant company procedures and policies
\n12.Performing other relevant duties when needed.<\/p>\n

Requirement<\/p>\n

\u2022A good first degree or master\u2019s degree in business administration, social sciences, health sciences, pure\/basic sciences or related field.
\n\u2022Good track record in research or demonstrable interest in research
\n\u2022Excellent written and verbal communication skills
\n\u2022Familiarity with or readiness to learn office management procedures and basic accounting principles
\n\u2022Proficient in a variety of computer software applications including Microsoft Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel and office management software
\n\u2022Self-motivated, trustworthy and comfortable handling confidential information.
\n\u2022Multi-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and work with little supervision.
\n\u2022Attention to details, very critical, analytical and attitude to challenge status quo constructively<\/p>\n
