{"id":43932,"date":"2020-01-21T09:51:19","date_gmt":"2020-01-21T09:51:19","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/?p=43932"},"modified":"2020-01-21T09:51:42","modified_gmt":"2020-01-21T09:51:42","slug":"world-vision-international-jobs-2020","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/world-vision-international-jobs-2020.html","title":{"rendered":"World Vision International Jobs 2020"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>To coordinate, facilitate implement and monitor WASH projects within the Area Programme through capacity building, networking, partnership and participation of the communities.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Project Officer-WASH<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Carry out needs assessment and reviews in communities to determine development interventions that are required.<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate the preparation of WASH projects plans and budgets within the cluster.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure availability of qualitative and quantitative WASH data and information for input into Horizon and CWBT report.<\/li>\n<li>Build capacity of Development Facilitators, volunteers, communities, Church and Government partners and other partners in WASH issues.<\/li>\n<li>Participate in children mapping and monitoring processes in communities to ensure participation of children and their families in APs activities this includes Registered Children and the most vulnerable).<\/li>\n<li>Facilitate communication between RC and their sponsors and ensure that Sponsorship Key Performance indicators are met in the different APs forming the cluster.<\/li>\n<li>Participate in RC registering, monitoring and data processing for marketing.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure implementation of Audit and Risk Assessment recommendations in WASH projects and their impact areas within the cluster.<\/li>\n<li>Facilitate and report (monthly, quarterly, semi-annually and annually) on WASH activities, outputs and outcomes in ADPs communities.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure representation of WV Area Programme at District and Regional events related to WASH.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Education \/ Work Experience \/ Skills<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Degree in hydrogeological engineering, Social Science, Public Health, Project Management or any related field.<\/li>\n<li>Three years\u2019 experience in working in the WASH Sector<\/li>\n<li>Deep understanding of community-based approaches, including clear involvement of children, women and People with Disabilities in hygiene promotion.<\/li>\n<li>Must be a committed Christian, able to stand above denominational diversities.<\/li>\n<li>Attend and participate\/lead in daily devotions and weekly Chapel services.<\/li>\n<li>Proven ability to communicate on WASH topics with diverse groups.<\/li>\n<li>Strong interpersonal and communication skills.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to support in the development and roll out of WASH programs\/projects.<\/li>\n<li>Good development and facilitation skills, including catalyzing, connecting, and building the capacity of community groups\/ partners.<\/li>\n<li>Strong communicator at all levels with interpersonal skills, ability and commitment to listen to others.<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrate commitment to the empowerment of the poor in rural communities.<\/li>\n<li>Working knowledge of programs\/projects cycle management.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to maintain effective working relationships with staff and key partners.<\/li>\n<li>Experience in community entry and mobilization and development facilitation.<\/li>\n<li>Working knowledge of proposal writing and negotiation skills.<\/li>\n<li>Monitoring, reporting and proposal writing skills<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Perform other duties as required<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>To coordinate, facilitate implement and monitor WASH projects within the Area Programme through capacity building, networking, partnership and participation of the communities.
